This is a beautiful tree topper but batteries do not last long. You have to make sure to turn it off and on a lot to make the star last with the batteries.

I absolutely love this tree topper lighted star. The details are intricate and well defined. It has a soft hue when lit, which I love. I actually used the tree topper in my window until our tree went up. I got so many compliments on it and is priced very reasonably. The only thing I wish were different is if it had a remote to turn it on and off. Not a big deal though, just left it on through the season as I wasn't going to climb up on a chair daily to turn it on and off. I definitely recommend this tree topper. You won't be disappointed.

Installed fresh batteries and the star did not light up. I decided to open the back cover, and there is no insulation on any wiring in the entire thing. The only thing I can think of is there are multiple short circuits due to no wiring insulation which is causing the thing to not light up. Terrible build quality; will definitely not recommend.By the way, it requires 2 “AAA” batteries; not 2 “AA” batteries like in the product description.

Love that it lights up, has a glittery base, it comes exactly as pictured and described!
