I bought this as a drive shaft for a DIY CNC router. This shaft was supposed to fit through some 1/4 inch bearings and a squeeze coupling on the stepper motor. The shaft is egg shaped and required several attempts filing down. When I got it to size to start into bearing, could see light in the profile. Would not recommend!

Arrived in a giant box, with bubble wrap around the rod, but was bent. No damage to box, must have been bent before packaged.

This rod is a rod. The dimensions adevertised are appropriate given the advertising as they are equal to the advertising.
