These 1-1/2" S-hooks appear sturdy, well-made, and as-described. The actual dimensions of the hooks I received were 1.6" long by 1.0" wide. The wire thickness measured 0.17" (11/64") (4.4 mm). They turned out to be a little too thick for my application. But we'll keep them around for another project. Just as a side note, zinc-coated steel is usually only considered moderately corrosion resistant in outdoor use.
