Awesome product! Loved the variety and informative booklet. Yes they come in a wooden box and are a bit dusty but that tends to be common as slides are prepared and stored. Nothing that a soft wipe with a cloth can't fix.

This is a wonderfull set of slides of incredible beauty. Suitable not only for beginners also for biology and college students. I fully recommend. The only thing that must be corrected it is inside the wood case. The slots where the slides fit are crooked and not completely straight. So if you do not take proper care this can cause the breakage of one of the slides when trying to put it in position. Another detail is that the cardboard box came with a small hole.

These slides are amazing and they are nicely organized in a sturdy little wooden box with a nice closure. These slides are one of the best values that I've found in several years. Imagine buying slides & covers and then getting these materials, staining them and then assembling these specimen slides! VERY pleased with these slides.

The cell samples are so vivid and brings me directly into the wonderful and mysterious biological world! I can also use the blank ones to create my own plant cell samples! It is such a good momentum to my passion in biology. Thank you!

The slides are well organized, marked and prepared. The study guide is very helpful and includes a separate multiple language guide. The only recommendation for improvement is to put the index on the inside cover of the box instead of underneath the slides (or both) because the index is hard to read when the slides are in place. The study guide is just a summary of the slide but coupled with an internet search, it's terrific. A budding biologist will eat this up!

PROS: GREAT samples, packaging is excellent, I love the box that they come in and how the wood has a finish on the outside. There are slots for each slide, and if you take out multiple slides, the bottom of the box is labeled with the slide that is supposed to go there, so you know where to put them back. I like this because I prefer to keep everything in order, especially samples that are plant related and animal tissue related.CONS: they came in a bit dusty. I'm not sure if it is because of the foam protector sheet that lines the top of the box or from the wood, but there was definitely a dusty substance on each slide. This was an easy fix. I took one of my soft bristled water colour paint brushes and brushed off the dust. It did not leave any scratches or residue on the slides.

The 25 prepared slides come on quality glass and a really nice padded wooden box for storage. Also contains information booklet about each slide.The specimens are very good quality and and exactly as shown in the booklet. Very good selection.Very impressed and have no problem recommending these. We'll worth the price.

My son loves anything science related and loves these slides I purchased for Christmas. I opened them before wrapping just to make sure nothing was broke and everything was in tact. The little wooden box/holder is very nice and sturdy and has a label telling you where each slide should be. The only problem I had that others may not have is I opened it (accidentally) upside down, I did so slowly so nothing broke thank God, but the labels were helpful in putting everything back in it’s proper spot. He said the slides show great details.

These 25 slides offer a nice variety of anatomy, plants, and mold/algae to go along with our National Geographic microscope. The wooden box is sturdy and excellent for storing the slides. The educational book that comes with the kit is a great teaching aid for children as you look at the slides under the microscope- very helpful for us parents that have forgotten most of our biology!
