I've standardized on these notebooks for 30+ years and go through about one of these every two years; record all my engineering activities as needed - it becomes a non-volatile memory (a diary almost) of what I've done. The hard cover and 0.2" blue-grid pages are perfect for writing notes or drawing diagrams and I label the cover with a from/to date for easy reference later - and I've definitely used previous notebooks time and again for finding something I know I did but can't remember details of. I use the 96 page version and number each page first-to-last with back-to-front fill of general always-needed notes that are used most often. They're a little expensive but looking at all the previous volumes on my shelf, what's not to like!? :-)
