Works perfectly for my project. Thin panels with a narrow frame around one side. Seems to be good construction and corners are square. Would order again

I wanted to (and eventually did) use these as shadow boxes for displaying some things. Working against this application is the fact that the wood is finger joined in places making staining tricky (ended up painting instead). The side I used as the "presentation side" is actually the back of the product, so the fact that dried glue is present where the sides and front come together does not affect the products intended use, but again, staining won't work without a bit of tedious glue cleanup. I didn't paint these (as in artwork) or stretch a canvas on it, so I can't say how well they'd work for that. But if you're looking for economical shadow boxes, you can make these work. Pricey for cheap (very light weight) wood, but cheaper than shadow boxes at a brick and mortar retailer. Dinged two stars for being relatively overpriced and the excessive effort it took to make them work for my admittedly unintended purpose.

I purchased a 18” x 36” panel. The frame is made from 1/2” stock wood. Upon arrival I noticed the frame is warped and corner to corner it has a 1-1/2” twist. I recommend in future to always purchase a 1-1/2” box frame for any size.

I am happy with the quality of these bare wood frames. I intend to use them for laser engraving, so was surprised to see they have the woodgrain going in different directions. One has horizontal grain and the other vertical. Using these for their intended purpose of canvas framing, that makes no difference and does not harm the quality. It was just surprising. I guess it indicates some hand work, rather than just spitting a bunch of products out through an automated process.The wood seems a good quality and I like that it is not finished with any kind of varnish or sealer. The wood has been sanded to be nice and smooth with nothing to catch on fabric. Overall, nice quality and good looking frames.
