I used a few of these sponges to create a speckled look on some homemade tarot cards. I like the "randomness" of the speckles. You can tear them apart for smaller projects too! Great choice.

At first I was a bit skeptical of these sponges as they’re huge, but I can tear them up into smaller pieces. They’re great for adding texture to paintings - waves, bushes, coral, etc.I bought synthetic sea sponges that were awful. These have a nice quality to them. -/ for the value? Yes! But make sure to soak them in water ahead of time before working with them.
