I got these for keeping some of the dirt off of me when weeding in the garden. They do a reasonable job of this and still be able to carry a few things in the pockets. Unfortunately, the pockets are wide a shalow enough that things do not stay in as well as I had hoped. The pockets also collect lots of the dirt that I spread while weeding.
