This is total junk drain valve on the Filter doesn't close off and air blows out of it. Had to take it apart and modify it. Bowl o ring doesn't seal well And the gauge screws hit the retaining ring for the bowl.. It's a cheap piece of junk.

Nice filter setup for contaminate and moisture free applications.I use it for a paint sprayer setup. But I also like putting it inline with some less expensive air tools that are prone to corrosion. It really filters pretty well..Now I've never heard af the company "Nanpu" before this, but I've since acquired more air accessories from them, and every single one has that durable, Professional feel and function...Besides, the blue looks cool.

Seems to be working well in my workshop. Quality is what I'm looking for in a non-professional setup. No leaks or areas of concern for me.

I have a compressed air setup in my shop with a few connectors on different walls and needed to add a second filter to one of my connectors to keep water off the system. This one works great for my needs. It's made out of metal and feels sturdy and well built. It comes with a few fittings, which saved me a trip to the store. The quick connect is decent quality but not the best one. To be expected considering the price tag, no complaints. Just remember to use the teflon tape included in the kit and you won't find any leaks. The regulator plastic knob it's plastic and feels a bit more on the lower quality side. My other separator has a plastic knob as well but doesn't feel flimsy at all. Not a huge deal considering the price point, but something to be mindful when using it.It does the job and I still consider it a good addition to my shop.

For my initial usage, I installed this directly at the outlet of my air compressor, so the regulator was not necessary but is definintely useful to have if I choose to use this at a downstream location. All connections fit well with no air leaks (I used a generous amount of the provided teflon tape on all threads).I do note that my air pressure may have dropped about 5 psi from my compressor regulator to this regulator, but that may just be a small error factor in this regulator's gauge. No big deal since I rarely need the full 150psi out of my compressor. Changing the pressure out of this regulator is easy enough, but the knob feels flimsy and slippery compared to the plastic knob on my compressor's regulator. Nonetheless, it does get the job done. The manual drain is also made of fairly flimsy feeling plastic, so I need to remember to be gentle with it. Unlike the photos, the closed position has a round white sticker with an red arrow pointing up and the open/drain position is just a downward facing triangle stamped into the plastic material. Therefore, the closed position is highly visible (as long as that sticker stays put) but the open/drain position is not easily visible. I could forsee the need for a red (or other bright color) permanent marker in my near future.I haven't used this enough to ascertain the water seperation yet, but this has always been my concern since I live in a high humidity area, don't want excessive moisture ran through my tools, and am planning on doing some painting this summer. I'll update this review if I run into undesirable characteristics but for the price, I consider this a solid first step in removing water from my air lines. I'm planning on adding a dessicant dryer as the next stage in trying to keep moisture/water out of my tools and paint sprays.

The original regulator on my air compressor broke - cheap plastic part. This unit is noticeably heavier and higher quality and I'm very happy with it.Refer to photos. Packaging is very good. The unit incorporates a 5 micron brass filter. When you remove the filter cover / water separator bowl, you get a feel for the quality of this product - metal construction, everything fits with precision. They include quick-connect fittings and they also give you a couple of male-male adapters in case your application requires it. (The unit's input and output ports are standard female NPT threaded.)
