Wow! This worked out so well for our dog who had a growth removed on his ear. He did not seem to mind it at all. It was sooo soft! Everyone at the vets office was raving about it!

The design of this Velcro head wrap does not stay in place. One good head shake and it slides behind the ears defeating the whole purpose to keep a dog from shaking his head with an injury or ear infection. It provides some protection or better prevention than having no wrap at all. It reduces the amount of head shaking if you keep a close eye on it and tighten it and straighten it out often.

This head wrap is very well made. It’s easy to put on with Velcro at the neck. Very soft. It seems comfy. My dog is a terrier mix about 25 lbs and the small fit perfectly. There is a pull string to adjust it back away from the eyes if needed.

It really is great quality, but it doesn’t matter what brand or quality of these I put on my dog, it just won’t stay on. No fault of the manufacturer, it’s just the concept. She doesn’t like this on her head lol

My dog is a rescue and living in NY has him stressed. He is constantly scarred of loud noises all day every day. Sleeping is usually when he feels safe but I have a neighbor with a loud car that he reves at all times of the day and night, that with motorcycles interrupts his sleep and then he's too paranoid to go back to bed. The worst of it is the 4th of July, but around here fireworks would go off at odd times in the middle of the night. Last year they started in April and didn't end until October. This year they have started as of May but not as intense. Anyway if he hears a bang blocks away he shakes violently and is so terrified it becomes so difficult to soothe him. Have tried cbd, a hormone spray, medications that were prescribed to hom when he haf surgery. Nothing really helped and i know being drugged made it worse. Last year in the middle of the night I took one of my husband's socks and made a snood. It worked! I got the idea after my husband covered his ears with his hands and he started to calm down. The sock was ok but it wouldn't stay on all night and then the cycle would start over again. Last week he was hiding after a fireworks ans I knew I needed to find something. He has a head that most covering don't stay on. When I saw this, I just felt it would work. Came in the mail today and it fit! It's a little small (size small) bit o also ordered a medium that will be here in a week and I can test that out. When we tried it on him I stood behind him and whispered his name increasing my volume. It took a lot for hi lmao to notice the sound but the funny thing is he didn't know where it was coming from and wandered as thought he was trying to figure it out. We snapped and coughed to see of he would react and nothing. It's really great. Heard a firework before I remembered that we had this, tried it on and I walked past him a few times but he's off in dream land and didn't even stir. I do believe we found our solution. Eureka! The price is easy on the wallet, it's adjustable and it's washable. He seems comfortable and doesn't mind it at all. I think this will be thw 1st night in the 3 years that we've had him that we'll both have a good night's sleep.*received the medium, MUCH better fit. Returning the small. For reference my dog is 62lbs shepard mix.

I was very hopeful that this would stay on my dogs head but just a few shakes and it was off. It look more comfortable then the one I got from my vet but unlike the one from the vet it would not stay on.

This hood did not stay on my dog more than about seven minutes. I kept having to adjust it to keep the grasses out of his ears. Tried tightening it up, but that didn’t really help either. Well made though!
