My son has sucked his thumb for 4 years and I started putting this on his thumb nail and he absolutely hates the taste! Keep him not wanting to put it anywhere near his mouth! Just wash off before they eat and reapply!

Stopped thumb sucking within 3 days! He is 2 years old and has always sucked his thumb since day 1. Wouldn't ever take pacifiers and this worked! So happy

Buy it immediately! We tried so many things with my four year old. I was so shocked it worked! I wish we had tried it sooner. The taste is awful but within a week he wasn’t sucking his thumb!

It’s good stuff and my daughter definitely doesn’t suck her thumb while it’s on there. It’s nice that you can wash it off so you don’t have to worry about traumatizing them during meal times. However, you have to make sure the lid is on tight or it all evaporates. I had one pen that my daughter got a hold of and popped the lid off. It was all gone the next time we went to use it. I ordered a double pack as a replacement so I could have one at home and one at daycare but one of the pens arrived empty, pretty disappointing after what you pay for it. Didn’t feel like going through the hassle of returning it through Amazon so I just have one really expensive pen. If the second order hadn’t come with a dud I probably would have given it a 5

I've wasted way too much money trying this product over and over. There isn't much in it, so you have to keep buying more. I've used it for weeks consistently, every single time my daughter naps or sleeps I put it on. She does hate it and cries and doesn't want me to put it on, but even so, it doesn't stop her from sucking on her fingers anyway. She only sucks on her fingers when she sleeps. Not all the time, but even though it tastes bad, it isn't bad enough for her to stop. I'm sure the bad taste goes away quickly as she just sucks it off. One of the little pens of this came with practically no solution in it and that's when I decided to call it. Waste of money and they aren't even consistent in how long they last/how much solution is in them.I'm moving onto an anti itching sleeve that I'm going to put under her clothes that will cover her hands....should have done that option a long time ago!!

I ordered this a but ago. Inwas excited to try it. Unfortunately, the first one I received was not functioning. I am unsure if the liquid inside was dry or what but nothing came out even when I turned the knob dozens of times. I wrote and asked for a replacement. This one took almost 15 turns before I saw any liquid start to come out. Then, when I went to use it again, it had leaked all inside the lid. Annoying.Besides that, the liquid does dry quickly, has a horrible taste and was effective at grossing my daughter out enough to keep her from sucking her thumb and fingers. I do like that it can be washed off with soap and water to allow my daughter to still enjoy finger foods. Other products we've tried ruin any food that is touched. I'd love to recommend this product but the pen thing they have it stored in really sucks.
