We have three Polaris sled and this hitch would not fit on any of them with out notching into the rear bumper. I like my sleds to look like new, not like something cobbled together. Sending it back and getting a a Digger Anchor hitch. Ordered a Digger at the same time as I order this and mounted easily and looks like it will last longer than the Nachman hitch..

I use this item on the snowmobile to pull an ice house. No problems.

Strong and sturdy. Works best on round bumper. Hard to get on square stock

I tow a sled often when riding my 700 SRX. This hitch has been a great upgrade. I’ve towed a few sleds out of the woods with it too. Super strong when bolted through the rear bumper instead of around it. I think it may have to be through bolted. Can’t remember, anyhow, it’s a keeper. Hard mounted sleds will bend the end if they flip over on the lake. Don’t ask me how I know. Lol! It needs to be heated up to bend it back straight. And it still holds strong.

I mounted this on my 2008 Polaris snowmobile. It did not fit on the bumper so I bolted in on a piece of square tubing and bolted the tubing to the snowmobile bumper. Looks like it should work. It seems sturdy and the price was right.

I have a Polaris RMK 900. I beat the frame in on the end a little bit. And drilled one hole in the center of the hitch as close to the edge as I could then I bent a stainless steel quarter inch Bolt so that it had a curve on it. Barely got it on with one bolt in the middle but it tightened down great. If you have a Polaris and you are not handy or you don't want to changer machine at all do not buy this. I'm happy with it. Definitely glad I bought it.

Didn't fit mine, but good quality. If you have a thicker bar, maybe look elsewhere..

From the pictures I was really unsure about the quality and durability. The stock amazon picture makes the hitch look like it could be fabricated out of aluminum and that worried me because hauling a tow sled over woops and hills can put a lot of strain on the hitch. Well I ordered two, one for each of our sleds and they arrived today. Needless to say I'm very impressed and extremely glad I decided to buy these. They are made out of heavy duty steel and I am confident I can tow our jet sleds with whatever we can pile in them without these hitches failing. They are a little big with a 1" inch opening. Both our bumpers are 7/8" th's inch so I'll have to fabricate a way to mount them securely. I would also recommend using stainless steel fasners to mount them (they do not come with any mounting hardware.) So for the price buy buy buy, these would sell for double or tripple at the dealer.
