Neoprene Rubber Sheets, Rolls & Strips
1. Neoprene Rubber has high tensile strength, excellent heat resistance, light resistance, aging resistance and its oil resistance, which is better than natural rubber.
2. Neoprene Rubber has a wide range of uses, such as making transportation belts and transmission belts, covering materials for wires and cables, making oil-resistant hoses, gaskets, and chemical-resistant equipment.
3. The neoprene rubber strips (rolls) itself has a light smell. Just leave the rubber outside for 1-3 days and the smell will disappear.

Very Heat-Resistant Rubber
Compared with natural rubber, neoprene is more resistant to gas penetration and can operate at temperatures up to 200°C. Even at such a high temperature, neoprene will not physically degrade, it will not show up in the form of melting or stretching, but will show hardening. It is also fireproof.
Chemical Resistant
Neoprene is chemically inert and valued for its ability to withstand petroleum-based mixtures, such as solvents, oils, and greases. Additionally, it can withstand methanol and ethanol as well as alkalis, inorganic acids and some salt solutions.
DIY Gasket Material
It can replace the same type of damaged rubber. It is easy to cut and only requires a pair of scissors to fit any DIY project.
Building Use
Due to its weather resistance, temperature resistance and pressure resistance, neoprene is used in gaskets, woodworking machinery gaskets, elevator astragals and other replacement seals.

Used this to create a better splash guard for my rear wheel well. I used a good exterior construction flexible sealant and self taping screws to hold it in place. Worked great the screw heads did not break through the material and it did the trick. Only enough to do one side though so recommend buying 2 just Incase.

I bought this to fashion an external gasket on a motorcycle trailer. The 4" width makes it easy to adapt to the long piano hinge connecting the trailer's top & bottom. My less than perfect execution of the gasket held up to a full season of use with only a single crack in the rubber. That crack might well have been caused by my less than optimal design and implementation of the gasket. I am very pleased with the product and have found it useful for other tasks around the house. If you find yourself crafting lots of McGyver-esque bits and bobs in the kitchen, garage, shop, etc., then you should probably have a roll of this stuff on hand. You will use it.

As described, easy to cut or trim, seems to be thick enough to take some impacts. I used it as leaf spring spacers, really made the spring slap disappear. Also a good pad for equipment.

This might sound crazy… Before pregnancy, I loved the smell of a shoe store or tire shop, but now that I’m pregnant, it’s all I want to smell! This is the ultimate satisfaction of that smell!! I smell it all the time and my finance just looks at me. Other than that, I have no idea what you’d need this item for.

I use this material all the time for a variety of applications on my boat and in my shop. It is tough, has good friction, bonds easily, and can withstand a variety of temperatures from well below freezing to 350F unperturbed. Great natural material, with no toxic off-gassing. The manufacturer has kept the specifications and tolerances very precise. Excellent product.

Used it to cover a PVC shed roof at the peak where the panel on one side came out from the groove of the peak which was easier than disassembling to try to fix it. Flexible and easy to trim yet feeling fairly tough, I was able to glue it to the PVC peak to cover the gap to stop the leaks. Time will tell as to how well it withstands the elements but it survived one fall wind/rain storm and being out in the sun on the hot tub cover for a couple of months before that, while I got around to using it. A little pricey, in my view, but it works well for my purposes.

Quality and high density. Worked great for an stand to hold a 600 lb aquarium where my wood floor was slightly uneven. I wanted to spread the load over a larger surface area. The hardwood floors in my house have heaved slightly and I didn’t want to concentrate all the downward pressure in a few high spots.If needed to adhere use guoelephant B680. From my pictures you can see the bond is stronger than the rubber itself

So this is exactly as claimed. The rubber is soft and pliable and easily cuttable with scissors. I bought it to put under my car ramps to keep them from sliding on the concrete under the weight of the car. The strips did roll a tiny bit, but they held fast and did the job. I would give it more stars, but it simply isn't the kind of product that requires glowing praise.
