Used these to protect trees when hanging a hammock with suspension straps. The protectors were easy to attach to the trees since the felt fabric 'grabbed' the bark. The wide velcro fastened easily to the protector as well, securing it to the tree. Suspension straps were helped to be held on top of the protector by the two elastic guides. Protectors went on and off easily, and appeared to suffer little damage to the felt fabric by the roughness of the tree bark, the velcro band, or the suspension straps.

I felt better about wrapping the zipline around tree with these in place. It held easy and no issues and is still green and supporting the cable effortlessly.

We needed to extend our slack line and this is just what we needed. These were long enough to go around some big trees and they stayed on while adjusting the line. The included velcro was so helpful.
