These are probably one of our warmest mittens and I would buy another pair size up for next year. We use it on the ski slopes and just playing outside in the snowy days.

My son just turned 3 and he is about 40 lbs, average size hands. I got the size 3-4 and while they have a little room to them, he can still wear them comfortably. They seem well constructed and he is perfectly protected in the cold/snow with them on. I will check back in in a month or so to see how well they hold up.

Warm and waterproof. Got the 18 month old size for my 3 year old and there is still a little room for growth. Great looking mitten and finally something waterproof. Kept his hands warm and dry for a whole day in the snow and great for wearing at the park in wet days.

Purchased a size 7-9 for my 7.5 year old daughter. It appears to run a little big, but that just makes for more room to grow into. The velcro straps are perfect to keep the gloves from slipping off, and to keep snow out. My daughter says she likes these gloves because they keep her hands warm and dry.Quality appears to be of great quality. I’m happy with my purchase.

Bought these for my 4 yo granddaughter. She is slender but very tall, more like a 5 yo so I ordered the 5-7 year old size. They are a bit large but still fit well enough and this way she will probably be able to use these in the snow for a few years. Love that they are adjustable and can be tightened around her wrists. If you have a smaller, petite child and want them to fit fit you would probably need the smaller size but these are not super huge and they don't look goofy so I am happy that they are a bit too big. Hope this helps, I read a lot of reviews trying to decide what size to get. Also she loves them so that counts too.
