2 years in and no problems. Everything works. No broken zippers or tears. I use it 2-3 times weekly hiking and mtb biking. I recently replaced the bladder and the new bladder is either a slightly better design or my original bladder just wore out. Could be both but it does seem easier to use . I recommend washing the backpack at least every 4 months or so in warm soapy water, thoroughly rinse and hang outside to air dry. Comes out like new . I just hand washed it in a bucket for tomorrows hike. Large enough to carry water, an added layer and gloves, and basic supplies for either a day hike or bike ride. The functionality and comfort make it a great day use pack.

I absolutely love this hiking backpack—it’s easily one of the best I’ve come across! The capacity is impressive, with plenty of storage for everything you’d need for a day hike or even a music festival. I used it for a couple of hikes and also brought it to Glastonbury, a music festival overseas. It was perfect for day-to-day activities! The insulation really stood out to me—it kept my water cool for hours, even in the heat. The 3L water bladder is high-quality, and the large opening makes it easy to fill with ice and clean afterward. That said, drying the tube takes some time, which is typical for most hydration packs, but it’s something to keep in mind. The multiple storage compartments are a game-changer. I could fit a jacket, snacks, a battery pack, and more with ease. The secure waist pouches in the front are perfect for keeping cash, cards, or small valuables safe and easily accessible, which gave me peace of mind. The lightweight and ergonomic design makes it super comfortable, even during long hikes or full days at festivals. The ventilated mesh padding on the straps and back is a nice touch, and the reflective strips are a thoughtful safety feature.Overall, this backpack is a winner! It’s versatile, secure, and practical for hiking, festivals, or any outdoor activities. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable hydration pack.

I got a different bag initially that ended out having no room in it and ordered this as a replacement on a last minute emergency need for a big convention I was going to with my service dog. I needed a bag that was big enough to carry my bladder and all the stuff for her and myself; meals (for both of us), clothing (for both of us), toys for her, and all the medical supplies needed for both of us as we both have medical conditions. ***keep in mind this review is done with a 2l bladder I had previously ***. I was able to fit everything we needed for the day and be able to use the bundgies at the front to hold a mat for us to lay on, the top "pole" holder came really in handy for this because I was able to slip the mat through there and not have it flapping about like with other bags who only hand the one set of cross bundgies. The side cup pockets were way better secured on this one once items were in it and again things didn't flap about. I was hesitant about the middle section that's only secured by buckels because I thought things would fall out if it but the bag has well secured side panels to keep things inside and this ended out coming really handly to carry extra things. The cooler pocket for the bladder definitely worked excellent! These are the negatives I had about the bag, however the bag is still amazing! The water resistance or proofing it advertised does not work maybe for light rain but my water leaked in the cup holder and it got inside. I ended out using my beeswax on it which changed the color a bit but will waterproof all of the materical i could get at.The shoulder straps as someone else pointed out are not as comfortable as others (I do not find it hot like other have said I can actually feel the coolness of the bladder which is why I think the padding is so thin). This being said I carried a 2l bladder and a full bag for 8 hours and it was not that badThe bladder itself is great doesn't leak or anything however the cap to get at the nozel is impossible to get off with one hand which is a must for me when I am walking with my guide dog, hence why I used my 2l bladderThe cooler tube cover doesn't really work at all. It's not hot water but even in 17 degree weather the water is warm and not cool like it advertised. This was a huge bummer because I really wanted this. Also the stitching to make this is not very strong as I took it off the 3l and put it on my 2l and I definitely wouldn't do it again or it would rip. This may turn out to be needing repairs down the road so I can clean the tube but we will see. It would be better if they put small loops on the ends so you can take it on and off for cleaning.Over all this bag is a MUST! I will be using this ALOT! Don't look any further. Get yourself some water proofing stuff and buy this bag. None of the other bags I looked at even 300$ bags were waterproof anyways unless you want an external cover which I did not.It also gets very compact when not full which is awesome. I could go on and on. But this bag is a must must must buy

So far, I used this bag for a weekend trip to Arizona. We went on one hike each day, for 3 days (each 2-4 hours long) at 75-90 degrees. I filled the bladder bag 1/2 with ice and the rest with water and it worked great. The nozzle was easy to use and the water was refreshing. The bag was easy to fill. There’s padding between your back and the bladder, so the water can maintain a cooler temp, nor does it feel cold on your back. The backpack itself was great. In addition to the filled bladder bag, I carried 2 1Liter bottles of water inside the main compartment. I also had 2 24oz water bottles in the exterior pockets. (I was hiking with my spouse and 3 kids). Then I had room in the front pocket for band-aids, tissues, hand sanitizer, wipes, chapstick, and there was space for more. There’s also an additional pocket for my wallet/phone. I could fit my baseball cap in the space between the front pocket and main pocket. I stored a few protein bars in the main compartment with the water to prevent them from melting in the heat—it worked great. Even carrying ALL of that, the bag didn’t feel heavy. The straps had good padding and the chest and hip straps help distribute the weight. All the zippers worked great—I’ve had some lightweight backpacks with that issue, but not this one.My only concern is figuring out how to dry out the bag. I’ve tried propping it open, but I don’t have a tool long enough to keep the entire bag open, so we will see about that.We haven’t hiked much, so I didn’t want to spend $80 on a backpack I would use once, but I didn’t want to waste money on a junky backpack either. This one is perfect! Buy it!!

I don't have much experience with hiking but my daughter invited me to join her family on a hiking vacation in Glacier Nat'l Park. She gave me a list of things to have including a hiking backpack with bladder. This backpack was easy to wear, easy to use and very adjustable. It had lots of adjustment points allowing me to adjust the fit for comfort when I was tired or when I was wearing heavier clothes to fit the hikes in the snow. The bladder was big and I only filled it half-way on most of the hikes to keep the weight light, but it could carry more water if needed. The pack was tossed on the floor of the car, in the back of vay and on the rocks (no special treatment) and it held up great. I'm a happy hiker.
