While the product was made for what I needed. It was smaller than I expected and with Registered cattle, I needed larger tags larger.

I purchased these for sheep ear tags. They are completely UNRELIABLE. I find that it takes 4 tries to get one to work properly. The other 3 times, the metal tip comes off the male piece, instead of piercing through the ring of the female portion. They are a nightmare to try and use on the sheep. Since you lose so many male parts, you only get about 25% of the number you pay for. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!!!

If you’re sick of paying insane prices for ear tags, give these a try. This is my 3rd year using this brand and I haven’t been disappointed.

These ear tags worked so week with what I needed them for. They are matte and perfect to write on the with a permanent marker.
