I live in a wooded area. My three cats roam the woods but return immediately at morning feeding with 3 clicks of this clicker. The audible clicks are loud. It is very durable metal. My previous white plastic one was worthless. I should have tried this years ago.It is a great & useful purchase.John C

I originally had a clicker modeled after the ones used in Normandy in WWII from the WWII museum in New Orleans. I used it to call my dog from the yard. I lost the original clicker and got this one from Amazon. It is identical in construction.

The metal tab used to make the click sound became fatigued causing a crack at the flex point rendering it useless. As far as the lifetime warranty on a 11 dollar item is just not worth the hassle, as the producer of this product is probably hoping most customers will ignore. Use a empty plastic bottle, you can find a clicker spot on it if you work at it. 😂

Does the trick,if it helps train your pup then it's money well spent.I would recommend if you are prepared to make the effort, clicking when you can be bothered is no good, you've got to stick at it.

This metal clicker is a Quality built item. It is strong and, unlike several of the plastic versions I have tried, the click is snappy, decisive and can be heard over distance. Great piece of kit!

I have been training dogs for almost 30 years now. I have used several different clickers and this one is by far my favorite. First it is loud!!! I train with a ton of distractions with my detector dogs, the clicker is loud enough that I know my dogs behavior is marked because I know they hear the clicker, no matter what else is going on around them. I also inadvertently dropped this clicker on the ground while loading dogs and backed over it with my truck. When I found it I thought it was ruined but although it was bent fairly bad it still functioned like new. One clicker is not as good as the other, this clicker is top of the line!!!!

What a great clicker. So much nicer than those plastic ones, that I personally have issues using due to bad thumbs. This clicker is SO EASY to use anyway you need to; using your thumbs or using your fingers. Really not sure why some reviews say it was hard to click... not mine, at all! Great stylish product. As a professional dog trainer, I always want to explore the clicker options out there. This one seemed really neat - easy access, some weight to it, something that would hold up to heavy daily use in all weather. And aesthetically neat when compared to other clickers. Unfortunately, the edges (particularly on the tab that you push to click) are SHARP. As much as I'd like to be able to use it, it just doesn't seem like a safe option. I will need to return it.I do also want to note that it is LOUD. And in some cases, that's awesome. But it isn't something that I really need out of a clicker.

For the money, cool little thing. I didn't want to buy a plastic clicker (trying not to buy ANY plastic if I can help it) and so this seemed like a great way to get a lasting gadget to train my pup.GREAT click, very loud and clear.Only negative - the metal is SO thin that the gentle pressure used to make a click bends the non click side to the point that it WILL fail. I have had this a week and I would guess it will not last a full year. (See pic for metal fatigue)
