They block out most light (not blackout). As long as you know what you are getting which is brown paper similar to grocery store bags folded with sticky tape on top, you will be happy. They look good and serve the intended purpose.

Im honestly confused why these have such good reviews. They aren't black out and they really aren't good quality. They're just paper folded up into an accordion. Do not waste your money. Find a different product.

These are great for waiting for permanent window treatments. Look good from outside and in. Great product and so easy to install

We didn’t want to permanently install blackout shades and we already have double rods with curtains we prefer. So, we are using these long term and will replace as needed. So far, the stability and durability is unmatched. I put these up and down at least 3-4 times a day. They haven’t ripped, lost their grip, or even shown wear and tear. The light blocking design is amazing. My room annd my daughter’s nursery instantly goes dark. I will say to be careful putting it up. If you aren’t 100% straight, it may hang crooked and leave a sliver of light going down. The value for money is wild. I will never purchase anything other than these simple for the ease of using and installing.

So nice and adds some extra privacy until our blinds are installed! Easy to install and quality material that resembles real blinds from afar. The adhesive also seems to be good quality! Overall good purchase!

I was so surprised at how good these work. This Miami heat is no joke and I could easily feel the difference in temperature as soon as I put it up. I wouldn’t say they are black out but it blocks enough sun so that if I want to nap during the day I can. It sticks on pretty good too! Even though I overlapped instead of cutting the blind it still looks good. The price is a plus for the amount you get as well. It came with six blinds and I only used four. I’m glad I came across these! Good temporary fix for me until I move next year!

We recently moved into a new build and needed a quick window covering solution while waiting for permanent blinds to be installed. These temporary blackout paper blinds have been an absolute lifesaver!Installation was a breeze – just peel, stick, and adjust! They fit perfectly across our windows, and the included clips make it easy to open them during the day. The blackout effect is impressive, keeping the rooms comfortably dark, especially in the mornings (perfect for sleeping in). What we love most is how sleek they look. For being paper blinds, they don’t feel or look cheap. They're also surprisingly durable – no rips or tears, even with regular use. These are an ideal solution if you’re settling into a new build and want privacy and darkness while you figure out permanent window treatments. We're so glad we bought them! Highly recommend to anyone in a similar situation.

We needed to find some window coverings that would tide us over while we ordered shades for our new house. These Myshade paper black out shades were extremely easy to put in, easy to cut to the perfect width and length. The clips that hold them down and to the desired up or down position work well.( instead of the classic pulley string system that most conventional shades utilize )These paper shades completely block out the light as well. They have held up well for the 5 months since we purchased them but are now beginning to come undone ( where they have been adhered to the window frame) in a couple of our rooms. If we had planned our shade delivery better we wouldn’t have come across this issue. In summary, while these shades excel in their ease of installation and light-blocking capabilities, they may not be the best option for long-term use.
