Brayer Rollers for Crafting
Printmaking is an interesting artistic process, which is based on the principle of transferring images from a matrix onto another surface, most often paper or fabric. MyLifeUNIT roller brayer is ideal for all kinds of block printing, the most common ones are woodcut and linoleum. You can use it with your Water-based inks or oil-based ink, water-based inks dry quickly and are easy to clean with water while oil-based inks give you a longer working time and require solvents for cleanup.

Stainless Steel Frame
After using to put the one side of the stainless-steel frame on the desktop, it can be separated from the desktop to avoid getting dirty and messy.

Smooth Handle

To begin the printing process, a small bead of ink is applied across the upper portion of a glass plane. Ink is pulled down in small amounts with the brayer and rolled on the glass plane until the brayer has picked up an even amount of ink.
Water-based block printing ink is added to the raised surfaces with MyLifeUNIT brayer.
Place the paper on top of the surface and then either ran through a printing press or another brayer.
Often, the first print is either over-inked or under-inked, or uneven pressure was applied during the burnishing process
The result is a "mirror image" print of the texture of the block.
It may take a few prints to find the right combination of ink and pressure to produce a series of successful prints.

Great size for small plate. My only issue is that even tho I immediately soak these when using acrylics, the paint seems to be harder to remove than it is for other soft brayers I use. But for the price, still think it's worth buying.

I WANTED TO USE WITH MY LETTERPRESS DIES. ITS GREAT AND DOES JUST WHAT I WANTED. I DON'T GET AS MUCH IF ANY INK ON MY PLATFORM. WILL BE ORDERING A COUPLE OF MORE THEN I CAN HAVE DIFFERENT INK COLORS ON THEM AND HAVE EACH TIME TO CHANG COLORS

A good smaller brayer. I was surprised to find how useful it was, even on larger woodblocks, since it nicely inked complex carved passages. Even medium soft material helps even inking. Cleans well too.

Worked like a charm, Was used with a heat gun to conform vinyl around rivets on a vehicle wrap. Would be even better if it was a little bit softer but overall did a great job
