I purchased these skates for a three year old girl who wanted skates for her birthday. After looking I found these. There are three stages to the skates and they can be adjusted as the child masters her skating skills. Right now my girl is on the first stage and is loving it. You might want to get a helmet too!

okay for my toddler. hard to resize but can get it after a while. my toddler loved them would only use indoors for outside they dont roll very well

The sliding scale of stages barely slides, gets stuck on two and if you want to move back to 1 its nearly impossible. Also stage 2 is loud and almost intolerable so it makes me think ours has some issues given the sliding stage issue too. Shoe size was our main concern as most training ones like these only go up to kids size 9 or 10. These did fit kids size 11 with a little bit to spare (a full size 12 would be questionable unless its a slimmer shoe like Native's). Bulkier sneakers are better to minimize side slip as they are wide. Price not worth the quality but better to start beginners off on these type so still worth it in that respect.
