The float works, but it would be nice if they could make these smaller somehow as they are large. I put mine in a large Urn and the float is huge which creates issues with fitment in Urns

I had to spend time finding screws for the floats. Waste of time. Bad product.

I have a 10 head unit that I use for Halloween. First year I used it, I rigged up a Rube Goldberg-esque system to keep the water level high enough to cover the mister but not so high that it choked it out. It had not occurred to me to float it. The next year I created a model of the float and 3D printed it. It worked, sorta. Never got the ballast correct and it flooded and sank a couple of times. This year I decided to just spend the money and buy it. Way better. Could sit a little lower in the water. It comes with small screws that go into the tabs on the ends of the mister then into the floats. I wasn't sure those tiny screws would hold for very long so I used long tie straps instead. See the photos. I can also cut them off for storage later. Can't really do that with the screws and not risk stripping out the holes eventually. Also the price. it shouldn't be this expensive. Injection molded plastic with foam inserts. I think it should be priced $20, tops. So minus a star for the tiny screws and the price. But other than that, I'm happy.

got the floats for a Halloween fogger cooler I built. Eliminated the need for a small water pump to keep the correct water level. mounted them to my 12 head mister, floated it in plenty of water and plugged in the mister. floated at the proper depth for 8 hours without a problem

It says this is fit for several models of mxmoonant misters but upon assembling with an approved model the whole unit is too buoyant which means the mister refuses to turn on unless you prod it down a little bit. Now I’m going to have to spend more time and money on something to weigh down the unit to a specific level to correct a production failure.UPDATE:Seller made contact and resolved the problem. Just make sure you contact before buying as there are two sizes and despite what the listing says it doesn’t work for the 6 head mister!

When spending a lot of money for styrofoam encased in a cute plastic shell, it would be nice to have instructions for use and care, along with mounting screws to fit the little holes that are pre-drilled.

I'm not sure why there were so many bad reviews. I actually had previously been using a float I made out of pvc and some pool noodles. It began to get a bit fiddly, so I sprung the cash for this float. It is definitely overpriced, although works fine. If you buy this, it works best to submerge the float under water so that the water level is appropriate for your humidifier. If you need to adjust, you can remove some of the foam inside.Cheers

It worked as intended for my 12 head mister, but it isn't such a high quality that the price is justified. Could use more options for mounting different sized misters.

This thing is a massive pain to maintain, no room to work screws and the bottom has holes but doesn't come off, meaning there's no way to clean out the slime that builds up. Very dissatisfied, but it's the only floater in the market

When attached to a ultrasonic mister array this float allows it to function at maximum efficiency by keeping the array about 25mm below the water surface. This allows me to then float the array in a much deeper reservoir for longer uninterrupted run times. Although a bit pricey for a simple float, I do not believe I could have come up with a DIY solution that was any cheaper, so in terms of value for money I consider this a reasonable and simple option.
