After 20 successful dives (mainly shore entry) wearing a single of this mask mount and the compatible Orcatorch light, the mount popped off on a back roll off a boat. Luckily, I had pulled the loose end of the mask strap through the light tether slots because it had felt suspiciously loose prior, and I didn’t lose the light or mount.I purchased a second mount. 2 mounts just fit on the light, and the retaining bands sit in the light ridges. You can face one clip down and one clip up to maximize resiliency. With this setup, the light doesn’t move or shift with vigorous movement. I don’t plan on removing this setup from the mask underwater.

If your looking to use your light then don't get this. Mine fells off every few minutes and if I didn't zip tie the light to the mask I would of lost it. Also the light just sits on your ear and after a few mins it starts to get uncomfortable

This mount is great if you have a light that can fit it. Unfortunately the only ones that do fit it (so far) are not rechargeable. You have to buy a set of rechargeable batteries with charger that make this light even more expensive. Using regular batteries does not provide the amount of lumens I am looking for.I love the clip, I just wish it could accommodate a 1 inch light (tube diameter).

It’s a piece of crap that doesn’t work. If you are in anything other than a swimming pool there is a good chance you will have it fall off of your mask your first dive.

Don't let the previous review discourage you as this light is meant for an orcatorch d560 or other mini small backup light, I use it for spearfishing at night and with a SAFT LS14500 battery this mount is versatile enough to remove and hand off to a diver in need, shove down some cracks, and reattach easily. It holds it's position nicely and I've never had it come off on me (I do ziptie it in rougher conditions)

The weight of a flashlight will cause the strap to flex downward and your light will not stay horizontal. The area of the base should be longer. There is an O-ring that holds the flashlight into place. This seems ok but I don't know how long it will hold up
