I used this to recharge an 09 Ford Escape hybrid that had fallen below 300v due to non use and cold weather. It only took 10 minutes on this unit before the battery reached 330v and started right up. Lots of people using this for this purpose with these older hybrids. I permanently installed it inside the hybrid battery casing and connected it to the two vistigal connectors as seen and labelled in the picture. There are YouTube videos of how do do this. I did it without removing the battery from the car (the two tiny t30 torx on sides are dang near impossible to remove, I used a needle nose vise grips on a cut down bit). Be advised 300v is dangerous, proceed at your own risk, and make sure the disconnect battery fuse is fully removed from the vehicle during wiring. I took an accidental jolt while getting my multimeter onto my crimped connection (before I heat shrunk and rubber isolated it). Luckily the amperage is low on these connectors but it still burnt a spot on my thumb and finger where I grabbed it. Live and learn.

I am so impressed by this item my 2007 Ford escape hybrid the high voltage battery was 264 volt since I wasn't driving for a couple months so it's impossible to start so I opened the rear hvb to charge it took me less than 7 minutes to be 330 volt impressed fast charging my car is now drivable and the (red triangle ⚠️) gone. I am so happy with this item I will buy if I need more.

I had a depleted hybrid battery on my 2009 Ford Escape, and I was able to use this to charge the hybrid battery so I could get the car started again. I permanently installed it into the battery case with a plug sticking out so I can easily charge the battery if it ever needs it again.
