I did not have an easy time cutting the aluminum as others said. My saw had a hard time finding an initial groove to cut, so the aluminum around the cut took a bunch of scratches, and the pieces were really jagged after the cut. This project was so much work I didn’t even bother sanding because it was so jagged it would have taken too long. They should consider perforated cutting points or something, or be more specific on the sawing technique in the instructions. It would be nice to have more brackets.. if I would have used all the aluminum tracks I certainly would have run out of brackets. And that brings me to my final critique, which is the smallest pack is still way too much material for small projects. Make a 3m pack or something. Everything else excellent. PS - with Philips Hue Led strips you will still see dots but it’s way less harsh than without this product. Recommended.

These clean up your LED strip light installation quite well in my opinion. Even though we bought the deep channel, I wouldn't say it is completely "spotless." There's no way around it, you'd need to get an LED strip with more LEDs per meter than these to accomplish that. That said, I found these to diffuse the light well; well enough for our application (under cabinet lighting, we didn't want to see the reflection of the individual LEDs in our counter). At low light, you can see the individual spots, but they are still soft. When turned up to full brightness, the spots are nearly gone (first picture shows the reflection in our countertop with the diffuser pulled back on the left side). We cut with a hack saw, and then smoothed the cut edge out with sandpaper (be mindful not to press down too hard on your supporting hand when cutting, these are aluminum and will bend easy). The diffuser slid right in with no issue. We ended up using some 3M foam double sided tape to adhere these to the cabinets. While they've only been up for three days, so far there doesn't seem to be any sign they are going to fall off.I'd say my only minor complaint and reason for losing one star is the diffuser does reduce the amount of light that can get through. If I were to do this installation again, I would definitely still use these aluminum channels, but I would have looked for an LED strip that produce a little more output. What I have is still very usable, but I would prefer the brightness without the diffuser. All in all, I recommend these!

I used the silver spotless for my strip lights and the diffusion provided is just right. They also make the installation much easier. The only thing I wish it had was a connector for the channels, there’s a thin gap that the light comes through which is noticeable.

These aluminum channels with white cover do help to diffuse the light but it will depend how close the leds are to each other if you want to avoid hot spots. Since the channel is so tall I attached the strips to the side walls and ran it on both sides. If you space the lights evenly then it avoids hot spots that are visible if placed directly opposite the diffuser. You should note that each 3.3ft section is cut flat at both ends so you can’t directly attach them but rather just but the next section as close as possible. It would be nice if these had a better way of making longer sections that were tight fits. You also don’t get enough of the clips to make a great hold so It recommend screwing right through the aluminum if you know you don’t want to take these down anytime soon.

Ad says "spotless" doesn't even come close to spotless. Item returned. Do not buy.

Disappointed. This channel does not provide very much diffusion. I can still see the spots on Phillips hue. Don’t waste your money.

My son was gifted some led light strips from a friend after he took a liking to those his friend had erected in his room. Was not too excited to put them on my walls, but ultimately decided if they must go up I didn't want them blinding me every time I entered his room. We used 3M tape to attach these to the wall to avoid a bunch of holes and drilling. Easy peel and stick of the led strips into the channels. Relatively easy to cut with a miter box and hack saw. Lenses take a little work, but are easy to figure out once you get a hang of it. Easy to snap in - no need to slide in along the length - in case you were wondering. These are not "spotless" - nothing close to the seamless light I get from a wemo outdoor strip, but it's a good compromise.

I've had my led strip lights installed for several months along the top of our cabinetry in the family room. I really like the effect, especially in the evening when we are watching a movie. They stay on constantly. However, I hated the fact that the lights were 'in my face', and looked a bit cheesy, like a casino. So, I bought the Muzata LED Channel and frosted diffuser cover to help solve the situation. It worked very well. I was also surprised how easy it was.Pros: Diffuses the lights and softens the glare (see photos, before/after)Relatively easy to install (see tips).Fit and finish is excellent. Diffuser covers snap in easilyEasy to trim pieces for custom installsCons:A few extra screws would be nice. I stripped the head on one, and needed to replace it since they give you just enough screws for the clamps they provide. A few extra clamps would be nice too.The end caps fit well, but if you need to run the light tape under them, they will pop off easily. I was going to file them to allow space for the tape, but decided to leave them alone for now.Tips:Use the right tools: Drill with 3/32" bitHack sawPhillips screwdriverMeasuring tapeElectrical tapeAllow two clamps per 1 meter section. Three would be better, but you may run short if you have smaller cut pieces.Drill pilot holes to accommodate the screws. I was installing this into cherry wood. Softer woods may not need the holes, as an ice pick may be sufficient. If smaller sections are needed, saw the length using a hack saw, but install the cover on the aluminum channel. By cutting both together you ensure that both pieces are the correct lengths.File the cut end to remove burrs and sharp edges.Snap channels into clamps, position the light tape (adhesive side down), install the diffuser cover and end caps (if needed). If you have a few led's showing around corners, black them out with electrical tape. It works perfectly.
