I have a wrist magnetic holder and magnetic wall rails to hold screwdrivers and pliers, but this bets them all on strength! I can carry hammers, pipe wrenches, jars of screws, crowbars, and pretty much anything with enough iron content on my belt without them falling off when I move around. The only gotcha is if you stick something light with a large surface area, like a saw, to it. You have a hard time getting these tools off of the holder! They could also be used to mount under a desk to hold a tool you might want to get to in a hurry!Well-made and useful as a third hand to hold or carry heavy metal tools.

Excellent magnetic strength. I use it as my golf range finder holder that has MagBite.Best magnet among other belt magnets I’ve tried.

These are a cool idea, but they are difficult to get on/off the belt. The magnets are very strong and hold screws, nails, etc. very well. They can be clipped to a tool belt, which is probably the best solution because then you can just leave them there permanently. They are solid plastic and work well. Overall, fine, but not great.

I have a workshop in my garage with tons and tons of tools. From traditional things like hammers and rules, to more specific tools like chisels and blades. This thing just works. It's strong as heck and actually holds hammers confidently as depicted in the pictures. I've always wanted to have a belt with magnets as opposed to a more traditional tool pouch to hold things. But I was never able to find/get something that works. My guy...this works. And as a cool side benefit, if you've ever wanted to feel like Batman, this will make you feel like batman. I'm able to slide these clips either to the front or back and can place or grab items without wondering if they're going to fall. Do you know how cool it is to pull a sharp chisel from behind your belt and begin cutting away some wood? Awesome. But in all seriousness, this item is definitely worth it. The flat profile is better for me than those clips with obvious circular pads. This blends in with everything on my person.Definitely recommend this big time.

The flat rubber face of these two tool belt magnets does a good job of grabbing and holding many items firmly. The holding force is about 90% magnetism and about 10% non-slip rubber (similar to what is on your brake pedal in your car). I found that for some items it was fairly easy to pull free and away from the magnet; sometimes resorting to sideways sliding and sometimes it takes a twist or angular pull.RED “NO” SYMBOL:The magnets are so strong that flat full contact items such as these shown can snap to the magnet quickly and with enough force to pinch skin in the process. Fasteners in general are not easy to pull loose without extra effort. It was particularly difficult to pull the magnet off the bottom of the cast iron pan. Additional reasoning behind my NO suggestion is that saw teeth and exposed machete blades can cause injury and it seems that there is no “give” when attached to the magnet, making it worse. This is a user problem, not a problem with the magnets.GREEN CHECKMARK IN THE PHOTO:These items all have a surface that is small enough or shaped in a way to limit the flatness of the area of magnetic attraction so that it is easier to remove things from the magnetic tool carrier. In this instance, I am rating the possibility of magnetic attraction and the removability, more so than the safety of magnetically sticking the exact item. Some of the items stuck nicely to the tool carrier and stayed in place while moving about, however some items would swing about while moving and too easily dislodged themselves from the magnetic pull.SUMMARY: For some items this is really great, but not all items should be considered if they have a dangerous potential. Accidents happen and even a smaller item falling off can be a safety problem. For me this seems to have a best use in a solo operation like home use, and away from ladders, scaffolding and any other place where a drop of an item could end up causing physical or property harm. Nothing heavy, sharp. pointed or swinging in nature just to be safe. This would be perfect for changing a light switch, planting bulbs in the fall (small spade and weed tool), and similar one-person tool related activities. My review results start at an Average 3.0 Stars and this receives an additional 0.5 points for being very good at what it does total 3.5 Stars. HOWEVER - please learn the limitations and use it sensibly so nobody gets hurt.
