The plastic handle that locks the fence in position on my Delta 14-650 type 2 mortiser recently stripped out its internal gears, rendering the fence unmovable. This product is a direct replacement for the original plastic handle on the mortiser. This Mutai handle appears to be made of plastic, so it may not be any more durable than the Delta supplied original handle, so it is nice that a spare handle is included in the package should the first replacement handle break.

The handles seem good and sturdy. No stud included. Had to purchase M8 automotive studs to make them work.

The plastic clamp on my Steel City Mortiser shattered, and since they have been out of business for several years, the OEM part could not be found. This one fits perfectly and is built much stronger that the original. Plus it came 'two-in-a-pack', so I have a spare... just in case!

I bought these to replace the plastic/metal original versions that came on my Midi Lathe. These are sturdy and made to last. With light use so far they are working many times better than the originals that slipped with I tried to lock the tool post and tail stock down on the lathe. With these, there is no more slipping in the locking mechanism.

My Delta 14-650 type 2's clamping lever failed. Delta part number 913386. Rather than buy another plastic thing that will fail in a couple years I got this part as a replacement. I just installed it - the pitch matches the Delta (M8-1.25) and it works great. It appears to be all metal. It appears to be an upgrade over the original part at a very affordable cost. Recommended.
