This was a replacement sink for an old stained sink. We love the finish and ease of cleaning. Do be aware that you have to drill holes for faucet hardware. I didn’t know that and had to purchase a hole saw. Other than that, easy to install. Recommended.

I bought this neat older home a few years ago. I've always wanted (and needed) a basement slop sink. Nothing could make me happier than to finally have one installed. No more washing out bird feeders in the bathtub. Or paint brushes in the kitchen sink. The plumber told me exactly which sink to buy. He has been a plumber for decades, so I did not second guess it.Amazon was the easiest and quickest way to find that model. I ordered it on the 4th and it was delivered on the 8th. For my needs this sink is perfect.

I had an old Mustee 19F Tub for 30 years, but the surface had worn out and it kept getting mildew. I ordered the 18F, which is a different material (fiberglass and stone), and the look and feel are very nice. The 18F is a little bit thinner, but still heavy enough for solid floor mount. Unfortunately, the item came with a slight chip defect in the bottom of the sink, but instead of returning, the seller offered a discount. So, I kept it. The tub does not come with pre-drilled holes for faucet, so you have to drill out with hole saw. I would have given it 5 stars, except for the defect.

Bought this to replace a janky utility sink in our laundry room. It’s super sturdy, built like a tank. Love the solid feel of this material. The primary reason I chose the 18F was that its faucet-mount area has a raised edge to keep water from spilling over the back. Also has a slight slope to help water drain down into the tub. This slope should be a standard feature of all sinks and vanities.Note: as other reviews have mentioned, this ships single-boxed without any padding to prevent shipping damage. For this reason, I hoped to purchase this locally. My first 18F arrived with one corner cracked near where the front-left leg attached. The seller (Riverbend Home) promptly sent a replacement unit which arrived in excellent condition. Regardless, if you can buy one locally, do that instead.

We really liked this sink ("We" being myself and spouse). Unfortunately, when we opened the box and removed the sink we found it to be cracked. Bummer, as it was almost exactly what we were looking for. So we returned it for a replacement. Though the shipping package did seem less than adequate and since this was the first time we have had to return a product thru Amazon due to damage during shipment. Well, the second one was also damaged. (Double Bummer). The second time we were't given the option of trying again.. We'd rather have the sink.

Just to be upfront, this low rating is not a review of the sink itself but as a warning to someone like myself who is looking to replace an existing Mustee tub. I have the 19 model which has the SAME EXACT SIZE dimensions as the 18 model. I wanted the 18 because the 19 is made of poor material that looks pretty beat up after only a little bit of use, whereas the 18 is a much better surface. Maybe I'm naive, but wouldn't you think that the same size tub with the same leg support system made by the same company would have the same leg base dimensions as a tub of the same size? Well nooooooooo, you'd be wrong because the leg spread is different by about ¾".My existing legs are drilled into a basement floor that was painted after the original was installed, so I'd have to reposition and re-drill all four holes to avoid cracking through to any of the existing holes, not to mention it would leave unpainted gray squares where the old legs were drilled. I thought this would be a simple swap out and now I'm out the $20 it's going to cost to ship it back for a refund.

I chose this tub after reading the reviews on the durability and finish of the sink/tub itself. I can say that I'm very happy with my choice. The finish has a slight 'glossy/glazed' feel to it, which makes me think it will be great for cleaning up after many of the painting projects I do. The sink is well made and relatively light to move in place. The legs also feel sturdy, although they are only fit into place (no screws). The sink holes were easily drilled with a 1" hole cutter and a 12v drill. The material, while sturdy, cut very easily. A light sanding around the holes removes slight burring.I ended up buying a nice Kholer faucet with the sink. I would recommend getting a well made faucet with this unit as it feels like it will last for a long time. The Kholer faucet had threading at the end of it to allow a garden hose to be hooked up as needed. I also bought, and recommend, and aerator to control the water flow coming out of the faucet. The aerator didn't build up as much 'extra pressure' as much as it provided a nice constant/predictable stream of water.
