This is exactly what I needed for my fathers 2004 Dyna low rider. He switches seats a lot when he rides solo vs two up. So he wore the old one out pretty quick.

The item description is a bit misleading because it is the same nut used in the fender hole for two-up seats, also.Excellent quality. Identical to the OEM one, including the heavy duty plastic clip, which OEM is plastic as well. (My orignal one from the factory served me well for over a decade).This new one is fantastic with a perfect Factory fit and finish.Delivery was fast.. price was right.. installation was about 15 seconds, for me.(I used a piece of long scrap wire with a knot tied on one end, instead of the enclosed tie wrap as an installation tool)Super happy with everything. Thank you, Mustang, for a reasonably priced quality product.

Fits my 2009 Harley Road King like a charm. Simple install. I used a 20" 12 gauge wire, feed it down thru the fender hole, inserted nut thru wire, tied a small knot to hold nut while positioning, pulled nut back up thru fender hole, inserted retainer, Very easy install. Will be repurchasing for a spare. Thank you!

After a long ride I noticed the original nut had fallen off my Dyna, and I purchased this instead of driving to the shop. This solo seat nut looks great on on my bike, the black matches the paint and just looks like that's what belongs on the bike.

It smashed the metal pretty good (mostly my fault, in my opinion the nut could be sturdier) when I put the bottle back on, and used a wrench to tighten it down. I now use the finger tightening bolts you can buy for it. It does not feel as secure to me, using the finger tightened bolt. It does work, and the nut is fine, just don't put a lot of pressure on it, if you are using a tool, its easy to over do it. I would purchase again, and I recommend this product for others to purchase.

What can I say? It worked as prescribed! Instead of the included plastic tie wrap to assist getting the nut in place, I used an opened wire coat hanger. It's longer and you can bend it to fish the nut into place. Made it real quick and easy!

Bought this to replace the oem part the dealer cross threaded when my bike went in for service. So far it's holding up well. Looked just like the original and I'm greatful that they provided the zip tie to help with threading it up from the fender.
