I gave this to someone who like experiences... so haha, this was a great experience for him and he loved it! Demonstrated the smooth experience of putting on his shoes, his boots, etc without having to bend. It's not just for pregnant ladies, as the product describes it as such. The wood feels great and the horn is good quality.

We have used this shoehorn many times, noting that its length is just right, its width is correct, socks and bare feet slide easily, and this shoehorn neither bends nor breaks. The loop allows easy, out-of-the-way vertical hanging on a small plastic hook.

As a 72-year-old, with a 76-year-old wife, we qualify as seniors, one of the target audiences described in the listing for this shoe horn. Also, I am a long-term woodworker and have had a special affinity for walnut since my childhood when my mother filled our home with walnut furniture. I find it interesting that they harvest walnut in the US and ship it to China to manufacture a small item like this for sale back in the US but the end result speaks for itself. This shoe horn is an attractive piece of real walnut, unlike some other stained or artificial wood products I see advertised as more valuable wood. It is well-finished and, even more important, it works well. I tested in on wool slippers, shoes and heavy winter boots and I was able to slip my foot into each without struggling, bending down or sitting. I like it and highly recommend it, even if you can still bend down when necessary. (I can! :))
