Top and Bottom Edges are precision ground to a flat accuracy tolerance of +/-.00125" per foot via a strategically designed 3-step grinding process on each work surface. The premium quality 6063-T5 Aluminum has a blue anodized finish that is extremely durable, abrasion resistant, easy to clean and does not peel or chip. Convenient hang hole included.
3 Perfectly Cut to Size Sandpaper Strips
We include three Adhesive-backed 3M Stikit Gold Abrasive strips, the preferred choice for top repair shops: (2) P240 Grit, (1) P400 Grit. Need more Sandpaper? We sell (sold separately) replacement sandpaper in 10-foot rolls that peel and stick to fit all MusicNomad Fret Leveling L-Beams.

The beam is fine but amazon didn't include the 3 sand paper stripes, I'm very disappointed. Don't buy it from here, better buy this from Thomann.

Haven't used it yet, it does have good weight to it. I was a little concerned about it being aluminum however it seems very well made and I tested it's flatness with a stew Mac straight edge. I couldn't see any gaps. After holding it up to the light and inspecting it as close as I could it seems pretty darn flat. I'm confident I bought the right one at the right price.

Excellent for flattening frets uniformly, but be careful, you can lose your neck radius if you don't work evenly. Also, you need to make sure you're not dealing with frets that are working up out of the slots, which should be reseated and glued first.

Nice ergonomic design, stable and easy to control. 280 grit tape cuts fast, watch closely, smooth strokes using the weight of the tool, don’t press down and you will be happy with the results.

I’ve leveled a few guitars with cheaper tools and got the job done. This tool is premium quality and heavier than other tools sold on Amazon. It gets the job done and it feels of higher quality materials.

I own a guitar repair business for 48 years now. While I make and modify many of my own tools, I also do buy them and use them as is. This MN 7" sanding beam is made well and is bench-friendly with minimal hard corners. It's flat grind is perfect (as it should be) and it's grip is very comfy in my old hands while sanding in either direction.I am thinking of lightly tapering each end of the ground surface. This would hopefully allow a few things... the ends of the Stikit paper won't get as chewed up from banging hard against the frets with each stroke, thereby making the paper last longer. The taper may allow a slightly shorter piece of Stikit to be used, b/c now, I need to cut an over-sized piece to keep this from happening. Lastly, this would also give a less beat-up pull-tab to peel off old Stikit from the flat. Maybe I'll try tapering just one end first to see if this may work like I hope it would.

Superb quality, easy to use, and performs great. I expected solid quality but was blown away by how well made this product is. The ergonomics are comfortable and make leveling frets simple.
