I can confirm it fits a Starcaster. I’ve gotten plenty pick guards that almost match but this one is a 100% fit. Definitely a great value since it’s only half the official fender price. 5 star experience

Perfect fit on Fender Japan HSS Strat, pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish of the tortoise shell pickguard. Delivery and packaging were also done well. Satisfied with the final outcome!

I intended to use this pickguard while turning my MIM Fender SSS Strat into an HSS with a humbucker. Obviously the humbucker would be a non-matching contrast color. But I wanted to avoid a hodge-podge of multiple mismatching off-white colors hoping that one of these pickguard white/off-white colors would match the corresponding Fender colors. They don't. None of the white/off-white colors matched the Fender knobs and pickup covers. Other than that, it lined up fine and the 3-ply seems pretty good quality.

Installed three ply black on a 2007 made in India Squire VM HSS Gunmetal Grey strat. It's not an exact copy of the original pickguard, the shape is very slightly different but it's close enough for government work. One screw hole did not lineup. Filled the hole in the guitar with glue and a toothpick, drilled a new pilot hole and installed the screw. Looks great.

After dealing with the company, I need to update my review. Their customer service is outstanding! They remade my HSS pickguard with 15 mm of spacing between the bridge and the humbucker opening, which was 9.5 mm on the one I originally bought. The humbucker now fits very well in my Strat with the new version of the HSS pick guard. With the addition of the new spec HSS pickguard, in addition to the original, you have the availability to use this with any Strat body for one third to one quarter the price of a Fender. The cutout for the Musiclily humbucker will accommodate a full f spaced uncovered humbucker. Only two different colored Fender pickguards will to that and the rest are cut out for a standard sized humbucker. The variety of color styles with Musiclily is amazing and gives you so much personal choice over the Fender models.I think the quality of the material is good. The white pearl is striking in appearance. No manufacturing defects were present. The down side is the position of the humbucker cut out. I have an American standard strat equivalent and the humbucker barely fit into the cavity. The bridge edge of the humbucker is tight against the routed cavity, making installation difficult. I put in a Gibson 498t and had to modify the mounting bracket of the pickup to the configuration of a Dimarzio pick up to fit my routing. The body routing is very generous to begin with and I was very surprised and unhappy to have to do that to make it work. Unless I am going to use Dimarzio’s in the future, I will have to modify every other bridge pickup I want to use with that pickguard. I’m not going to do that so I am going to by a Fender brand pick guard and spend 3 times the price to avoid this hassle. I really would avoid this pickguard configuration from this manufacturer. I have the s/s/s configuration of this pickguard from this manufacturer and it is great without issues in quality or installation in the same body.

I bought this because I wanted to put a humbucker in my Squier Bullet Strat (circa ~2005). When I first mounted it I thought it was just poorly made because nothing fit, but apparently I just cannot count. My Squier Strat (and I'm sure some others as well) use a weird 10-hole pattern that is near impossible to find parts for. THIS WILL NOT FIT OUT OF THE BOX IF YOU HAVE A 10-HOLE STRAT.With that being said, it is a VERY well made pickguard and the overall quality is INCREDIBLE for the price. If you are in the same situation as me, I suggest taking a dremel to the bridge cutout and re drilling your pickguard screws so you don't have to bend over backwards trying to find another pickguard that fits a 10-hole in the future.This is a 5-star product, but I gave it 4-stars because the edges were a bit rough upon receiving it. Took only 30 seconds to clean up. Overall a great product and I would definitely recommend it in the future.P.S. I also purchased a musicilly humbucker to go with it and I was very impressed with that as well, that'll be getting its own review shortly.
