These cut great but not comfortable to cut with. I wouldn’t be able to use them for a long period at a time.

I had these sent to my granddaughter, because she does a lot of sewing. I understand these do not cut as smooth as they should. I have the same pinking shears, no I didn't get them from Amazon. Mine are the same brand that's why I ordered these for my granddaughter. Mine are over 30 years old and cut just fine.

What a shame... I love my 'normal' straight Mundial scissors (and have had them years) so brought these and thought I couldn't go wrong... fool! They really are pants and only cut a light double layer of fabric. Have ordered some Fiskars now and would rather have given £20 to charity as these are destined for the bin.

Great pinking shears, cuts well through fabric and paper. Well-made and cuts smoothly. Handle is not so comfortable for long use, but I've yet to find any pinking shears that are. Made in Brazil.

I got these for my mother for her birthday, and she loves them! They are sharp and cut so well. We both were incredibly surprised in the quality. They are a good weight, cut very well, and are comfortable in the hand. You wont be disappointed in this purchase!

I wrote a 5 star review for these back in 2014 when I bought my first pair, which I loved then, and now.. I sew in two rooms, and was always having to go retrieve my pinking shears, so I purchased a 2nd pair so I'd have a pair in each room. I purchased the 2nd pair in Oct. 2016 and they are horrible. They are dull, every hard to use and they seize up constantly. They will not cut through any fabric thicker than thin cotton. As I try to use them, for example, I open them to make a cut and they lock up before I can even make a cut. They also look scratched up and kind of dull, as if they're used (or maybe someone else's return?)... My older pair look newer than this brand new pair. I'm not sure if I just got a bad pair or what since I do have quite a few other Red Dot shears and I love all of them, except this newest pair of Pinking Shears. I hope it isn't that the quality of Red Dot has gone down hill.I have 3 pair of fiskars pinking shears, and all are so dull, they're very difficult to use.. It would cost more than a new pair to have them sharpened, so I decided to try a different brand, to see if they would stay sharper longer..I can't really say if they will do that or not, since i've only had them for a couple of weeks.. but I can say they are much easier to use.. fiskars are really heavy weight and hard for my arthritic hand to use.. These scissors are very light weight, which makes it much easier to use.. The cut is clean and so far, I love them!Only time will tell if they stay sharp longer than the fiskars...

I'm not a professional seamstress and haven't used these for long, but they are nice and heavy and cut cleanly. For right-hand use, the handles are matte black plastic and comfortable enough. If I was going to be cutting for hours and hours I might want a larger grip, I have petite fingers and it's a snug fit. The action catches/resists a little, but maybe that's the way all pinking shears need to be? I'm not an expert. But these are just fine.
