Like everyone else, I bought this to up my smash burger game. This is the perfect tool for it and I have been really happy with my purchase. My one complaint was that the edge wasn't nearly sharp enough to get under the burger crust. Some chefs use a razor blade, but that seems like a hassle to me so I sharpened mine to a super-sharp knife edge and it's amazing now. I've attached a photo of the edge I added.

Excellent BBQ tool for burgers.I bought this wanting to make smash burgers and after some research, decided i'd go with this. I was concerned it would be too big (wide) but after using it a few times, i can confirm this is a perfect size for my grill. Using with a 120g size pattie, pressed the patties down with no need to adjust to accomadate for overrun. One hard press and im good to go.Has a firm handle which seems to be fairly think so there isn't a lot of flex when pushing down hard.The edges are quite well tapered and do a great job of scooping without catching anyting one the grill.Basically, a great BBQ burger fliper and i can happily recommend this item to anyone looking to up their home buger game.

We used this once and marveled how sturdy it was. The next use it was already a little loose. We returned it.

I got this to make, like everyone else, smash burgers, but it is also excellent for pancakes, sandwiches, and other large items. Very sturdy and will probably last generations. I have had a smaller version of this spatula for years and have loved it. I even keep the edges honed with a sharpening steel. I use the smaller one to put pressure on the larger one when smashing.This big one has a slight imperfection in that the tang is not in the handle perfectly straight, but it is ground off enough where you don't notice it unless you are looking.

I find this excellent value. It is way bigger than I need, however, I like solid tools like these. It is so impressive that even the wife did not complain about its weight and size.The edges are well made and quite straight, which means they do not scrape your pan surface. It helps you get right underneath stuff. It is great for pancakes, sausages and burgers.

I have been looking for a long time for a very, very stiff spatula and this is it. The amount of flex one can measure by grabbing the handle and pressing as hard as possible is minimal. This is the spatula for me that I use with my cast iron skillets. Perfect for hamburgers, fried potatos and anything else that can stick to pans. This thing will scrap them up easily and wont bend and contort itself into a pretzel if you really need to manhandle it.If you need a very stiff spatula: this is it.

This is the ideal spatula for grilling - flipping burgers, steaks, etc.. It is very well madeand heavy with a wooden handle. I wanted it primarily for grilling because tongs and smallspatulas just don't do the job with large burgers and steaks. This would also be good toshovel cookies from the cookie sheet to the cooling racks as three or four cookies would fiton it saving time. This is a "big daddy" which is much larger than a regular spatula.It's of good quality and should last a very long time with a riveted wooden handle.I'm very pleased with this purchase.
