The color changing effect for heat is great! Perfect starter spin when starting baby cereals/rice. Soft and small, great product. Did notice colors fade over time but we used them for every meal for months.

I've purchased these a few times and I absolutely love this style of spoon for feeding my six month old! They turn white if the food is too hot, which is helpful for new parents or dad's ;) honestly, helpful for anyone, especially when you're in a rush. I love the metal spoons, they have a good feel and weight and the fact that the end is covered so babies can bite down without hurting themselves. They are super sturdy, i have some that have seen all 3 of my kids and they are perfect, just some slight staining. Absolutely wonderful value. Super easy to use. Recommend for any new mom or mom again.♡

The size and shape of the spoons are perfect for feeding babies (particularly when first starting solids and they don't have the knack of it yet) because the bowl of the spoons aren't too deep so food doesn't get stuck, while the width is nice and narrow so you can fit it easily into wee baby mouths. The silicone coating makes it gentle on their teeth if they're an early teether (which mine is), while the metal means that I don't have to worry about exposing my child unnecessarily to microplastics, and that it will last. However, the white hot safety feature becomes less effective if you feed solids that have high pigmentation like sweet potato. The silicone has turned a tiny bit orange so the white hot isn't as clear. But that isn't really an issue for me, since I wouldn't rely on that feature to determine temperature, we don't serve the food hot (warm or lukewarm at most), and I prefer to just feel test the temperature of the food beforehand anyways.
