You'll know the moment you see this if it is something you need. It's not flawless but for a tinkerer like me who dabbles in PCB design as a hobby this is a pretty good pickup for testing parts before soldering them down... Or after to make sure you didn't damage it... Not that I would know anything about that

For $20 this transistor testing pen is expensive. It cost more than an average multimeter with transistor testing capability. But it is able to test optocoupler and TL431 as well. You can test using the tweezer or the sockets.
