I had my doubts about this vacuum cooler when I first purchased it, but to my pleasant surprise, it does exactly what it was made for. It keeps the cpu nice and cool as opposed to the laptop heating up previously. I recommend this.

For what it cost, it is okay. It is better than any under the laptop fans for CPU cooling. For lighter applications it is fine. It does what it says, there are more like it with more power. There is a trade-off with laptops, the ..more power you use to cool one the faster the battery will drain. That being said, for CPU cooling this works well for the wattage it draws. It has issues. It only works if your laptop is on a flat surface as the tape that sticks it on the laptop isn't strong enough to keep it there if you pick up the computer. That turns out to not be all bad. It is next to impossible to pull it off the mount, the mount pulls of the laptop. It is best to use a separate power supply as there are few enough USB ports on a laptop and if you use a separate power supply, it won't drain the laptop battery. On high it will drop the temperature a couple of degrees. Laptops will throttle the CPU if the temp gets too high, so it does make my laptop run faster. All in all, if you have a laptop you use mostly on a table plugged in it's with the money. It doesn't cool anything but the CPU and not enough to allow the CPU to run at boost speeds but all 4 cores of my intel core 7 don't down throttle when stressed and temps don't go over 90 deg C. that is running 4 cores at 2200 Mhz, boost can go to 3,000 MHz. When removed temps climb to the 93 deg range and all 4 cores drop to 1800 MHz with 98% CPU utilization. Turning on an under fan cooler bring temp down under 90, but after 5 min, no CPU speed increase. After replacing the cooler the CPU does go back to 2200 MHz in 20 or 30 second64s. So it is far more effective than an under-computer fan style cooler, at least for the CPU. My laptop does not have any other temperature sensors that AIDA64 picks up. Both make a very slight temp difference. Both also might cool the rest of the components a bit. A powerful cooler like this might do much better, but would be loud and must have a separate power source. So you decide. Laptops run hot, as high as 100 deg C before turning off. heat is the enemy of solid-state electronics, you decide how much a little cooler is worth, your computer will likely run faster using this or cooler like it.
