I put these on an old 80 quart Rubbermaid cooler. The install was easy and they work great.

None of the holes lined up. Had to drill new holes in latches. No instructions

The only thing I would have liked to have is a diagram or template showing the optimal mounting dimensions. Used the set I purchased for holding closed a blade cover on my saw mill. Now that I have a template will be ordering more of the. Good tension on the latching was my goal.

Luckily I found this on Amazon since it’s now hard to find replacement parts for my Gemini Legacy Catamaran. The strap fit perfectly to replace a broken one and I ordered another set for the future.

I use hundreds of these latches for a product that I sell. I switched to these when another option in black became unavailable. These are junk. Here are the exact numbers. Of the 20 of these purchased 18 have been used with 4 failures (22.2% failure rate). eating into my profits because I have to ship free replacements to customers that are experiencing failures. So the cost of shipping alone is 10x the savings I got by switching to these. Others brand I used in the past I have 540 purchased with slightly higher overall failure number over a 5 year period! Yes, only 5 failed out of 540 (less than 1% failure rate). Needless to say I am switching back to the other option even though I will have to opt for a different color since the black are no longer available.

Great replacement for the OEM Southco latches on my boat. I will say that there was a manufacturing defect that I saw before opening the package that caused me to return the first order but a quick replacement fixed that. I would take off half a star for that if I could but I won't deduct a whole one.

I put these latches on two seperate Mini Mag floor scrubbers replacing the ones that came with the machine. These were visually the same but were flexable in their texture which proved to be troublsome over time. They lasted less then 2 weeks of nightly usage on the machine which I used them to hold the top and bottom of the machine in place. I think if it wasn't for where I was using the latches they would of lasted much longer. The other latches were used to just hold/fasten the lid down. They are unscathed and show no signs of wear after a month. I gave this a 4 star on value because of the price they are selling for I got two latches for about $10 as apposed to $27 a piece thru the Mini Mag scrubber vender for replacement parts.
