Muck Wetland Rubber Premium Men's Field Boots are ideal for outdoor work and for water fowlers who always get wet. With a comfort range of -20 °F/-30 °C to 50 °F/10 °C, these 100% waterproof boots perform well in all seasons. 5 mm neoprene provides exceptional comfort, flexibility, shock absorption and heat retention. The extended rubber overlays on these men's field boots protect your feet and ankles from outdoor hazards. For added comfort, they feature Airmesh linings that allow your feet to breathe, and EVA contoured, molded midsoles that follow the natural shape of your feet. The self-cleaning MS-1 ribbed outsole wraps around for optimal protection, stability and performance in mud and snow. Comfort toplines are designed to fit close and keep out debris, but can be rolled down in warmer weather.

A must-have for hunters, birdwatchers, or anyone whose works takes them outdoors, the Wetland Boot from MuckBoots is designed specifically for keeping feet dry and comfortable in the field. 100-percent waterproof from the toe to the top of the boot shaft, these unisex boots have durable, natural rubber uppers and a heavy duty, traction outer sole that can handle snow and mud. Superior comfort is achieved with a breathable, "Airmesh" lining, a CR flex-foam bootie, instep protector, and insulation that will keep your feet cool to over 70 degrees Fahrenheit and warm to sub-freezing temperatures.

First mud boots I've purchased. I did around 6hrs review and blog reading over a few days. Wetlands were on sale, seemed like the best choice for me. Additionally, I appreciate the aesthetics.Size: I wear 11.5 or 12, about equally, by brand, not footware type. I went with 12 (my usual boot size), even though Amazon recommended 11. Indeed, 12 was too loose. I bought"Dickies Men's Light Compression Comfort Over-The-Calf Socks" for these. I slipped on some hiking socks over those and it worked ok. I walked 5mi around a flooded lake with no issues. I walked 3.5mi on an extremely rocky trail plus creeks/pools, no problem. Came home. Ordered "Gviipk Orange plantar 240± lbs soles." Size 12 ($30). These soles fit perfectly and now the boots fit much better with enhanced foot support and comfort. Still, slightly loose heel, but 11s with this sole upgrade probably wouldn't fit. I'll take the enhanced support for better hiking/trekking experiences.Note: It took some willpower to get those soles in. I'm not going to be inclined to use these soles interchangeably with other boots despite the fact these soles are expensive and a great upgrade.Note 2: My boots came in their original box (per OP review).Note 3: OP says they wouldn't stalk with these due to weight. It's completely dependent upon your fitness level. My experience is that I can handle about the same amount of walking as in $200 hiking boots. Cons: Heavier. A little more fatigue, drag, hotter feet, muscles not used to this different footware. Pros: Can trek through many wet areas that would otherwise be risking trenchfoot going through, or worse trying to avoid (think log over creek). If it comes down to it, I will attach these to a pack and change as needed.

Love these boots my husband wears at least 2 pair out a year, he has one pair for yard work, shoveling snow and even ice fishing. And another pair for strictly hunting. Amazon has better prices and faster delivery than any other place I could find!!!! Thank you

Originally ordered in size 11 as I wear a 10.5 in every shoe, and it was a bit too loose and the heel slipped a bit much. Ordered the size 10 and it's a much better fit. Great boot, 100% waterproof, very well built, and the amount of cushion makes them one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I've ever worn. Something to be aware of - when descending terrain your toes will run into the front of the boot regardless of sizing up or down. However, it is much less annoying when you size down as there's not excessive room for your foot to slide around inside the boot. Rolling down the neoprene section of the boot allows it to breathe much better for warmer weather. Wearing the boots normally, the neoprene traps heat very well and the removable sock liners help to draw moisture away from your foot. I take them out at the end of the night and leave them to dry overnight especially if I'm planning to wear them the next day. In my opinion, this is the most versatile Muck boot for all conditions, and if you don't live in areas with extreme winters, wearing these with a pair of thick wool socks provides more than enough warmth for winter months. Very impressed with these boots.

The boots arrived on time in the manufacturer's box, inside a shipping box. They were as described on the website. They are warm, perhaps a little too warm for use in the summer. The description was pretty accurate in terms of the temperatures during which these boots are best (at least on the warm side I haven't had the opportunity to test the cold side) The boots are comfortable. There is a solid sole with decent support. The tops of the foot are fairly rigid, but don't interfere with normal movement, including walking, running, squatting and the normal activities one would engage while wearing the boots. They are a little larger than expected. I normally wear a wide shoe or boot. In fact, sometimes I have to go up a size in order to accommodate the wide ball of my foot. These are considered medium width so I was concerned. However, they are adequately wide and a little bit too long. Even wearing medium weight wool socks the boots are just a little larger than I would like. It might be a half size or even less difference. However, despite being a little large, I have experienced no blisters or sore areas on my feet.A note of caution. These boots are relatively tall. They are much taller than a calf-high sock. Therefore, be prepared for some leg chafing, or to tuck pant legs inside the boot unless you have over the calf socks.I like these well enough for wear on rocky, sloped Appalachian farm property that I'll probably buy another pair of MuckBoots for summer temperatures and keep these for the cooler parts of the year. I think, if they last the way the other reviews have indicated, the expense will be worth it.********EDITED FOR UPDATE 1-24-15Have now been wearing these since summer. The boots, with wool socks are comfortable in cold weather. They handle mud, ice, snow, slush, cold creeks, and everything I've thrown at them. The winter here has not hit sub zero temperatures this year, but down into mid single digits these boots have performed well. These are my go to shoes for the farm. If I'm outside these are probably on my feet. I'll definitely buy more if these wear out, but so far no significant signs of wear. I'll probably also find a different version for the summer, but I'll stick with MuckBoots.
