Before I hemmed pants, I dampened the whole roll in water for just a second and squeezed out the excess, then placed the white sides down so that white adhesive would not stick to the iron. Pressed, using very warm iron. worked like magic. The material on the pants was so thin that I did not have to cut off the first hem, just folded it upwards and laid the hemming tape on the two parts.

Loved how it was so easy to use-just dampen tape and iron on. Worked like a charm on hemming my dress. For me- much better than the traditional “stitch witchery” which requires folding over and placing between fabric. This is right on top of raw hem. Simple. Only shortcoming is there was no instructions inside package— had to go on line and watch video. Otherwise— super happy with product.

Perfect for thin and stretch materials that I have trouble sewing with a sewing machine. The iron on glue is strong and holds hem very well. Its very light and doesn't add weight to the hem.

The directions are non existent. Good thing I saw a video on how to use these from another site. You have to wet the strip fully. Shake off any access water. Put the strip facedown with the side with the ridges touching your fabric. Then iron the strip to heat the glue. It is not self stick. You have to wet it and then iron to activate the glue. Your welcome.

It’s a really good product but very hard to install moves a lot. I had a hard time keeping it in place. Presoaking the stripe is almost mandatory unless you wanna get wrinkles later.
