Snapped right in, an though the appearance is different, the plug in fit perfectly. It is always "scary" ordering a part that looks different, but this fit a Craftsman LT2100 lawn tractor perfectly.

Got a call from an elderly gentleman I do handyman stuff for, saying his riding mower was in the middle of his yard and would not start.After a hasty diagnosis, hunted high and low for the switch. Finally found it on Amazon. After I ordered it, began to second guess myself. But was over joyed when that was the actual problem.Only down side was length of time waiting for delivery. (No more Prime for me)

this was a beautiful ignition switch with no key.. i made this purchase because i had lost my key when my unit became too worn to hold the key. so now i have a new ignition with no key. how could i have expected a key to come with a lock? my bad. read and comprehend before you buy. good product, fast delivery..i hope you sell them all with no keys.

Didn't work but for one mowing. Even the original was as cheaply made as this replacement. I've had to resort to hot wiring my mower and just leaving the wires hanging. A sad state of affairs that shoddy products are manufactured and sold to unsuspecting customers. Used to be that a person could buy something and it would last a lifetime.
