This was exactly what I needed for the Screentight mini track. Which is the square track. Home Depot ran out.

used over 1200 of these for our large screen porch and everyone of them were exactly the same - no defects in the lot. These seemed to be manufactured at a high quality level. Will use again this product again.

If you are putting these into wood, not PVC they should work fairly well. In PVC, they are a problem as when one drives the track over the screw head, the screw can sink into the PVC. Also you can not miter the corners. I suggest drill and counter sink the track, use SS screw.

I love my new screened-in porch. We put up screen to keep it cleaner and it has sure helped do that. I wanted it screened without the screened-in look, and Screen Tight was a good solution for that. I had one of the most difficult mounting surfaces there probably is, highly textured stucco. Therefore, I had to pre-drill holes for the screws with a masonry bit, but the screws did a good job of grabbing. Because of the textured surface, I had to play a little with the depth of each screw, but I used a scrap piece of the Screen-tight rail to get the depth just right for a snug fit. It was also hard getting the screws in a straight line on the rough, hard surface, but the Screen-tight rail has enough flexibility that usually I could get it to snap over my screw heads as long as they were close. My porch is composed of arches, which I dealt with by cutting partial-depth slots in the rails, which gave me enough flexibility to follow the arches. Because of the rough surface, I did have to place a bead of high-strength calk along both sides of the rails to seal the small gaps that let in light. This calk also helped to strengthen the railing attachment. Around the wooden door frame this wasn't required. The rails snapped on to the smooth, straight wood frame securely and snugly.
