The original crank handle broke and fell off. I figured a $30 knock off would not be too far from the $220 OEM. Well, its a somewhat far. I had to file it a bit so it could slide into the shaft, it wouldn't press fit without destroying the roof.Its been working well but it hangs down, does not lock in the up right position.• The casting could've been better.• The chrome plating is good.• The knob is rubber like, does not spin like the OEM's hard plastic.• Better than...Nothing

Product required filing to fit a 1984 318i. The pivot wave spring came out from under the retaining clip and caused issues. The knob came off during the first use. This was a complete waste of my money.

This is a complete piece of crap, not only does it not fit as other reviews stated but the material is really cheap. Save the time and money and buy the oem part.

Does not and will not fit on my 1987 325(e) Coupe, unless I do some modification on the handle itself. The hole on the new handle is too small.
