The boards are great, I love the grid on them. They worked well for a sweater I was blocking. I was nervous because I hadn’t blocked anything before. So I soaked my project, rolled it into a towel and stepped on it to get out all the excess water I could, and laid it out on the mat. To my surprise it was super easy material to work with and the grid helped me keep everything square. I left it overnight and checked it again the following afternoon and to my horror there was rust all around the pins and all over my sweater that I spent over 30hrs making…. I will have to buy rust proof pins which is an additional purchase I didnt plan on making. Luckily the rust came out of my sweater with a little tlc 🥲 If you buy this, don’t make my mistake and add rust proof pins to your cart.

Started a large knitting project that requires pieces to be blocked while you go. The price fit my budget and I got value for my money. The four mats interlock securely, the grid markings are clear and easy to see. Plan on purchasing another set to accommodate my project.

This is my first blocking mat, I didn’t want to drop $40+ on one so I chose this one as it was cheap and small (when put together it is 2’x2’.) I didn’t even realize it was from a small company, but that makes it even more worth it than it already was. A blocking mat is just foam pieces with pins, so they’re charging a fair price while still making profit. They wrote a hand written note and had an extra note stating if I wasn’t satisfied with my order they will either replace or refund me, regardless of how long it’s been. They also included a mustache sticker which I think is cute, love when companies go out of their way to add cutesy little things that make people smile. The thank you note, hand written note, refund guarantee, and the little sticker is all so thoughtful and shows that they really care about their customers. The mat itself works great, I have a craft market coming up and wanted to block all my accessories to make sure they were professional looking, and this did exactly what it was meant to. The pins are thin and sharp so it doesn’t make holes in your product, but they’re just thick enough that they actually hold it in place (even when stretching it a lot.) It comes with a good bit of pins, I was able to block 2 bandanas and a headband, I could’ve fit up to 3 more headbands on it as well, but I didn’t have enough pins. You could always get some from dollar tree if you do intricate work and need a lot per project. Photo is of my crochet halfway through drying. Overall I’m so happy with my order, and I highly recommend this product.

Rec'd in good time - mats themselves work great but pins r bit "thin", slimsy but that seems to be the par with the pins of today - bought some straight pins not long ago & they were poorly made - try to pin something & they bend but these r a little sturdier I must say but nevertheless not made like they used to. All in all I wud recommend the purchase of these mats. They work well for the purpose at hand.

These blocking mats are excellent to use with T pins to block knitting or crochet projects. They can be put together like a puzzle if a larger blocking mat is needed. I like that the colour is quiet and doesn't interfere with the colour of the yarn project. The price is reasonable as well.

I love these for blocking my granny squares. They came with a few pins but when crocheting big projects you will need more pins. I used regular sewing pins and that worked great. I would buy more of these.

They’re thick and durable and stack well, and I ordered more of them for bigger projects since a pack wasn’t enough for a shawl. The squares have numbers on them, but I’m not sure why since they don’t actually align when I put them together.

I’m a relatively new crocheter and these blocking mats worked great for my first granny square blanket! They’re reasonably priced and come with enough t-pins to get you started. Zero conplaints!

I purchased these as a “new” item. When they arrived, there were pin holes already in the mat (obviously USED). The T pins that come with? Over half of them were bent, rusted, or both. Overall, the blocking mats work fine, but I’m very disappointed to have purchased new and obviously received a used product. I will not be buying from this shop again.

These are great to have around, and you can buy more mats to lock together if you have a bigger project. When I first started crocheting I got a wooden blocker with thick needles, but the pins are kinda too thick so it leaves some noticeable gaps, when I started working on garments and knitting I really wanted to block without that. The pins are a lot thinner than what I was using, and again, the possibility for a bigger blocking area is great! I’m also thinking of getting some comb pins for it, which wouldn’t work on my previous wood board either. I still like my wood one, don’t get me wrong! It’s pretty, it works for certain projects, and I have good memories with it, but I think the foam boards are more versatile.
