I was turned on to this product in a sewing class. The cost of one roll was crazy. Found these and thought ok try it. Since then I’ve been using it for highlights in books and sharing the information with friends and people in various classes. Love this stuff.

Excellent for highlighting words in kids’ books. You need a razor blade to remove the tape.

These rolls go a LONG way! I use them in my Vet School textbooks that I don't want to mark up permanently, especially my pharmacology book. I went through the entire semester and just barely got through the first roll of the main colors I was using. They are bright but still easy to read text through, tear easily so you don't need scissors, but also easy to restart the roll to highlight a new thing. I liked the thickness of them, even in the books with smaller, tighter lines of text.

I love these. I tend to highlight a lot so I used two rolls in half a chapter of my Employment Law textbook. Granted, the chapters are like 60 pages long. But these are great, easy to use and get the length you need. The colors are great and removable. I originally bought erasable highlighter markers but on a test page, the colors did not erase all the way so I was worried I would ruined my rented textbooks and be penalized for "damaging" them. I do not have to worry about that with the highlighter tape. I can remove all the tape when I return the textbook. That may be a lengthy process with the way I highlight but, I'd rather do that than buy a $300 textbook I'll never open again. Needless to say, I will be purchasing again, do they come in larger sizes...?

This tape works and highlights well. It’s removable and doesn’t damage paper or books. My issue is that every time I tear off a piece of it, it doesn’t tear straight and that really bothers me to not have a clean edge on the parts of books I’m highlighting.

Important to note these strips are serrated along one edge rendering them useless. Since this purchase was entirely my fault due to carelessly not paying attention to details, I won’t be asking for a replacement. A smooth edge has a much cleaner look than serrated. UPDATE!!!UPDATE - Although I did not request a refund, MR. PEN has reached out to me and has processed a full refund. That is impressive and more than generous. I will be shopping here again. Well done!

I don't do a lot of highlighting, but I am sure these are useful for that purpose. So you might ask: what else are they useful to use ? I use them for color coding for mechanical pencils. For example: a mechanical pencil can be different lead size (.3-.5-.7-.9-1.3) mm, they can contain graphite or colors (blue - red - lavender -green etc) and graphite leads can has various hardness / softness (HB-2B-4B etc) I use them all and picking the desired pencil quickly and easily isn't obvious. So I use wrapped color tapes for code coloring. Three colors in a logical order tell me the installed lead size, the lead type ( graphite -color) and the lead softness degree or the lead color. The tapes are inexpensive and easily replaceable when a pencil is changed to different lead contents. It is faster and removes having other marking / labeling methods unneeded or consistent checking when selecting the desired mechanical pencil. A simple and easy solution.

I had not seen this type of hylighter before. It works well! It doesn't stick so much that it rips the paper but does stay put. Pretty bold colors. They last a long time. My middle schooler daughters friends all asked me to buy them some!

This highlight tape works great. Very thin so you can see the printing perfectly still and it’s removable which is nice. My only complaint is it’s too wide for my bibles font size. It covers onto the line below as well. My font size is 9 point.

I use this highlighter tape to help me keep track of my pattern while crocheting. It highlights the row lines perfectly so I know which one I’m on and I can easily follow it. I can remove & replace the tape easily, although when using it with a printed pattern from my printer, it does remove a little of the ink so the tape gets a little hard to see through. If you use it with a printed pattern, I suggest using the different colors of tape to mark each line. That makes it easy to follow without removing & reusing the tape. When I’ve used it in my crochet pattern books, I’ve noticed that it does leave a sticky residue and it can’t be removed. The residue is not enough to make the pages stick together, but if you’re particular about your books you probably don’t want to try this. I found it worked well for me. I can definitely see using this when you don’t want to permanently highlight in your books. I like that it comes in lots of colors. I would purchase it again.
