I've used these bolts on several clean Hot Rod "Show" engines for the last ten years. I used to use "Allen" style, and yeah they work great, east to set the torque and not leave any marks, but those Allen bolts are hard to keep clean and after a while the pocket collects "stuff", and on the steel ones, they rust. These bolts are the perfect length easy to torque and easy to clean when you detail the engine time and time again even if you paint over them.

The smaller head, 12point 7/6 looks great. They fit perfect and can get a wrench on them to torque. Resnug after running always a good idea.

These are AWESOME bolts for any intake. They really popped on my black Edelbrock. I have a 1977 Corvette. They seem fairly priced. I love the hex head as they are less capable of rounding off. Get em and torque em!
