I’ve been using the Movo WS10n Universal Furry Outdoor Microphones for a few weeks now, and they have far exceeded my expectations. The build quality is solid, and the furry windscreen is incredibly effective at reducing wind noise during outdoor recordings. Even in breezy conditions, the audio remains clear and natural, without that distracting wind interference. These microphones are versatile and compatible with multiple devices, which is perfect for someone like me who works across various platforms. Whether I’m recording interviews, nature sounds, or on-location videos, the Movo WS10n consistently provides professional-grade results. It’s hard to believe how much quality they pack into such an affordable product. For anyone looking to enhance their outdoor audio recordings, this is a reliable and high-performing choice. It does pretty well on the mic inside my motorcycle helmet. It drastically cuts out the wind noise even when my visor is up. I’d recommend this product.

I'm a bit of a head-case with these things, and these are the best I have found. If they can work on my parabolic mic setup, they can work on anything. Completely clear, great quality, and a brill company to boot. Yes please.

Why do they call these dead cats? Who knows, it works great for in helmet microphones

Thought they were bigger, my fault for not reading the description properly. They seem of good quality and I have no doubt they would fit very small mics. Obviously I have no idea whether they serve their purpose but have no reason to doubt it.EDIT - never used these because of the size but I have to tell you my cat absolutely loves these things. Tied one on the end of some wool on a piece of a wire coat hanger and he chases it for hours always pestering me about it like a dog. Another one he carries it around in his mouth like a mouse. Really the best cat toy I've ever had. Must be the size and the fur.

If you've ever tried to use a lav mic outdoors, and you need to use a windscreen on it, you’re familiar with how the little mini foam screens don’t adhere well to the mic. Any handling can cause your tiny foam protector to be “Gone with the Wind” in an instant.Well, we can now all rejoice, since this antidote to the whims of Zephyrus is now available. This mini deadcat doesn’t just slip over the mic, but has a small elastic strip with a snap. You slip the deadcat over the mic, unhooked the snap, wrap the elastic around the wire lead to the mic, resecure the snap, and your windscreen isn’t going anywhere. It’s a brilliant solution to a real problem encountered by anybody who’s used a lav mic outdoors, breeze or no breeze. No more hunting for a tiny foam bit that you “know must’ve fallen down right around here somewhere.”Highly recommended.Chris

Der Gummizug hat bei mir jetzt gerade mal 4 Monate gehalten. Den muss man dann ersetzen. Sonst ein gutes kleines Deadcat.

Needed a windsock for my helmet cam. I run a Sony mic on my GoPro Hero 4 and used two of these wind screens (I have a double sided mic) to shield the microphone. I have very little wind noise while still getting excellent audio. If I have to buy more I'll buy these again.

Not bad. Wind blasts are turned into a low frequency hum vs. thunderous pop. Also, it does not cause the mic to crackle when clothes rubs up to the lavalier mic, which is a common problem with foam windscreens.

Devueltos inmediatamente.

Bought this to eliminate the wind noise heard thru my lapel mic for outdoor wedding. Did a wedding over the weekend & must say it eliminated the wind completely. I was using a standard type mic cover & got lots of wind noise & thought it might be my mic! This did the trick. The wind was not bad for this wedding so i will continue to check this but so far so good!

I found these now to make much difference in my moto vlogs, they are ok build quality and fit most mid sized lapel mics but for my use, I cut off the snap and band.

It's sized for a lav mic, and is furry. Works like a charm. It is even big enough to squeeze the lav mic with a foam cover inside. So its, Furry hair -> Foam -> Mic. Wind and pop protection is superb.Used with Neewer's insanely affordable lav mics here http://amzn.com/B005DJOIHE and I have both lav mics and if not in used, a great cat toy.
