Great lightweight set-up for SCUBA diving. Lights were great for capturing photos. As every underwater photographer knows - LIGHTING IS KEY. The deeper you go the less natural light there is to use. The lights tend to loosen at the screw mount plate. I have safety tethers for my camera to the frame, the lights to the frame, and the frame to a leash on my BCD. Just a little piece of mind.

The frame is sturdy and can be used for many different setups. The lights are just okay. The rechargable batteries are not removable. They come with three sets of diffuser filters. The purple diffusers are for neutralizing green tones in lakes or rivers, the orange diffusers are for neutralizing blue tones in the ocean, and the frosted white diffusers are more general purpose.Now for the bad, the clips for the lights do not feel sturdy at all. I ended using super glue to keep them in place. I would not trust the default setup. Alternatively you could buy additional GoPro mounts to use the included GoPro clips to secure the lights. I also added a lanyard.Overall, this is good value as a budget setup with relatively low powered compared to spending three to four times as much for 2-3x brighter lights and a more ergonomic grip.

When I was looking for an U/W light for my GoPro, this one caught my eye immediately. I have made two SCUBA dives with it and have not been disappointed. For such compact lights, they put out a lot of illumination. My videos were great. You really need a light if you go more than a few feet below the surface to bring out all the vibrant colors of the reef fish and coral. It is slightly negative buoyancy and very easy to handle with one or both hands. Will happily update this after a few more dives.

My wife and I love to dive, and my wife likes to take pictures. Diving itself is already a super expensive hobby, so I was very reluctant to make it even more expensive by adding high end photography equipment. We decided to give this little rig a try along with basically one of the cheapest waterproof action cameras we could get from Amazon. We have both been amazed with the results. I am absolutely certain that someone with a huge dive camera rig could get better pictures than us, but we are not trying to become photographers. We are just divers trying to capture some memories and share them with fiends. If that is what you are trying to do, this rig and any old GoPro or knockoff waterproof action camera will get the job done.Another commenter correctly noted that these lights do not stay attached to the handle well. I have not found a way to fix that issue with the cold shoe connectors, so I just run zip ties through the handle and the light bases, and that keeps them on. It is a problem, but it has a $4 for 200 pack solution, so that's not a deal breaker to me.

Overall, this product is a turd.-The lights aren't strong enough, so you'll need to replace them with something more powerful.-The mechanism that holds the lights are absolute trash and will fail. The plastic is weak and breaks easily, making the light fall off. If it doesn't break, it works itself loose and the light falls off. Tldr; the light falls off.-The frame itself is a good starter base. It's large enough that you have room to press the buttons on your camera. It's aluminum, so sturdy enough to attach to safely.-If you want a work around to the sketchy holder parts, use zip ties. Those will ensure the lights and camera don't fall off; they're cheap and probably already in a random drawer in your garage.

very poor light brackets, I cannot get the lights to attach firmly and I haven't got in the water yet please don't buy this product its not fit for purpose as it is with cheap crappy light attachments.

I haven't yet dived with this, that happens next week. The frame is sturdy, not overly large, and seems well built - it's a single piece of aluminum. It also includes 2 lights. Viewing the screen of a GoPro 11 on the linear (elevation hold) lens, the two lights completely light up the frame. The lights also come with colored light modifiers so less color correction should be required. The only complaint is the lights are recharged with old usb-b micro cables, so you have to guess which side is up and be careful plugging it in. I've not had a chance to gauge the battery life of the lights, but the thing to note is they are not replaceable - the batteries are sealed in the light. The back opens only to access the charging port. I wasn't expecting to keep this when I bought it, but instead I sent back the other waterproof light I ordered for the GoPro. This seems like a keeper!

So i got this to replace my "psitol grip " floating camera rig.First impression is good. I bought the oversized one, because frankly im oversized and a few reviews said big hands are a problem on the standard.The rig itself is well made and rugged with multiple attachment pointsThe lights coud probably be better , not so bright so you need both..which in turn makes it all a bit cumbersome.The wrist strap looks good but i would imagine it would only fit the smallest hand . I didnt even bother but am attaching a clip or doublender .Which brings me to my last point. The rig is awkward to carry in tbe water. Meaning unless you plan on taking pics and videos the whole dive and carrying the rig. Its hard to stow on your gear as you dive abd uts not in use .

This rig worked great for my Insta360 X2 with dive case. I did replace the quick lock LED attachments based on prior reviews with another product as the ones that come with it don’t hold as securely as I would like.The lights worked well for a mid day dive with 6-10 ft of visibility. No rust on the frame or any of the screws so far. I never felt the camera mount wobble or get loose. I think for folks with the Insta360 X2 and R One with the vertical dive cases will appreciate that there is enough clearance for the case. There are a few 1/4”-20 threaded mounting points around the camera. The yellow plastic over molding is grippy and securely attach to the rig with no sliding when in use.The LEDs gave me about 2-4 ft from the object worked well and roughly inline with my camera focus point. It will be interesting to use on a night dive.A great starting underwater camera rig for a beginner.
