I suffer from wrist pain and was looking for a soft wrist support for the computer mouse. Although, this offered support it was not soft and caused more uncomfortable pain.

I do not like using this for my PC mouse because it limits the side to side movement of my wrist and pad of my palm on the desktop. I need to twist my wrist clockwise and counter clockwise, instead of leaving my hand and wrist aligned and moving my arm at the shoulder and elbow to move the mouse. Perhaps if I had a smaller monitor it would work better because I would not need so a large range of motion. What it does work well with, after getting used to it, is for repetitive tasks when using it for my Apple Mac Magic Trackpad. The surface area is 6.25" X 4.75 inches and I can cover that comfortably using the wrist rest when I am staying near the center of the trackpad. It is a relief not to have my wrist sitting on the hard desktop surface or worse on the edge of the desk. On occasion, I found the wrist rest a little awkward when I needed to use the trackpad from corner to corner when drawing or drag-selecting a large area. Overall, I recommend this for trackpad use - the small ones on laptops or MacBooks would be an excellent use for this rest - but I cannot recommend it if you use a mouse exclusively and need a large range of motion.
