Both sizes worked for antlers we had to hang thwy are right next to our other skull mount and no one can tell the difference other then it's shorter. It's nice and sturdy and fits the antlers really well. Great product and recommend if you need a mount for your trophy's!

When I was a teen in PA. there was no spare cash for mounting a trophy, a deer was for eating !! That being said there were 2 bucks that intrigued me enough to take a hacksaw to their racks, 1 was big,,symmetrical, and greenish in color, and the other was a smaller perfect 5 pointer on 1 side and a squashed mess that looked like a twisted goat's, horn on the other. These weird''trophies"kicked around in my old footlocker for years ,never quite getting chucked, because every time they surfaced,I would remember back to hunting with my uncle and cousins. Thanks to Mountain Mike, Amazon and a coat of shellac, for age, these "orphans" have found a home on the wall of my man cave,they still make me smile.

I had to do quite a bit of filing and shaping to get it to work but once I got the sheds and skull plate shaped right it all came together nicely. Follow the instructions and put in the work it should turn out nicely.

Great antler mount. Helped me recover from my mistakes the first time I shot a mule deer buck.Thought it was a good idea to cut off the antlers with no idea on how I was going to mount them. Now a few years later, they have been mounted on my wall proudly with minimal evidence of my mistakes from a few years ago.

It’s a must have if you want to mount antlers but aren’t on a skull! Two sizes are provided, we needed to larger mount. Getting the right angle & screwing them in can be a little tricky & may require another set of hands. But over all went pretty smoothly. Cutting the cover for the plaque was the hardest for me. But that’s not what we’re reviewing. Sorry I didn’t take a pic of the mount alone.

These turned out amazing! I do have to say the screws that go in to the antlers are longer than needed having to drill 1 3/4” in. A 1inch screw would suffice. My bit snapped on one in the antlers and had to use a smaller screw and it worked perfectly. I’ve been meaning to try these for a while. I would much rather use these than skull cap the deer. Definitely going to use these again. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the length of the screws.

ademas de este producto tambien pedi el de calavera completa , los dos son de buena calidad no debil en consistencia y con tornillos e instrucciones de uso, si no quieres un arreglo de calavera de venado estilo europeo completo , o solo tienes un par de astas de las que desechan los venados este arreglo te sirve muy bien porque ademas vienan dos tamaños que se ajustan a la mayoria ya sea mediano o grande , la misma proporcion de las astas te indican cual es el mas adecuado y a un precio muy economico aqui en amazon.........
